So technically speaking, 5 levels of Blackguard (3rd level divine spells) should be enough to open a path for the Stormlord PRC.
Any thoughts on seeing Fighter/Blackguard/Stormlords on the server? I do not think we would go beyond the power that is available for an EDM 'Cleric/Stormlord' or that EDM Favored Soul/Blackguard/Stormlord build. The blackguard spellbook is limited and at most would have the caster level of 30.
But it would offer a chance to play a different kind of Stormlord.
So, any yays or nays?

Interesting concept, will take a gander on the builder tonight.
RP wise, should hold, clerical war priest style of RP, Doom Crow perhaps. Shock and awe campaigner.

"Most stormlords are clerics, druids, or cleric/sorcerers,
although other class combinations, particularly those
including fighter or even barbarian, are not unknown."
Complete Divine, page 65.
If the setting has Talos, you need to worship Talos. You need to be able to cast 3rd level spells, which Blackguards are able to do.
" Stormlords often live as brigands, indulging their per-
sonal desires for wealth, food, luxury items, and wanton
behavior as they crave random, spectacular acts of violence.
They often pose as lunatics, in order to spread the word of
Talos, and otherwise adopt disguises in order to scout out
rich prizes to strike at."
Complete Divine, page 65.
It doesn't sound like we are really stepping out of the realm of acceptable 'Blackguard' behaviour. I for one would consider Talos to be a dark deity, and blackguards are known for epitomizing evil. A blackguard is a mortal fiend with a reputation of the foulest sort - and I really do not see how it would be in conflict with the Stormlord PRC.
Edit:
Actually, Blackguard should open up all the divine PRCs... Warpriest, Dragonslayer, Hospitaler. You know, most clerics do not have that great of a reason to pick them, but I think Blackgaurds might.

And then progress the Blackguard spell casting? Maybe add in more spell casting levels and spells?

Yeah, it would give the Blackguard a higher caster level etc. They would still be stuck with 4 levels of spells. Perhaps the blackguard spell list could be expanded slightly? More options added per spell level feat?

Re: Blackguard PRC opens a path for Stormlord PRC?
I came to a similar conclusion from my limited reading as well.
While the idea of a combination of SL and BG do not 'initially' mix with a face value appraisal. I realised that was because I was looking at it through the eyes of a 'cookie cutter' system.
This is something I feel that we need to be aware of when assessing other peoples roleplay ideas.
Three categories typically address the acceptability of a character idea:
1. Is it a 'common cookie cutter' idea? (eg Tiefling rogues, Aasimar paladins, Elf mages, Halfling rogues.)
2. Is it a completely unnacceptable and very silly idea? (eg. Gray Orc paladin of Sune, Water Genasi Favored Soul of Kossuth) (although, a good RPer and support of those around may pull these off with reasonable success)
3. Is it something that doesn't fit typical mold but is new and justifiable? (Dwarf wizard, Hin Favored Soul of Gond, Half Orc Paladin, Half Orc Wizard, Dwarf Bard.)
And ultimately... just because we haven't heard of one of 'those types' of characters before in our FR stories (games and books alike), DOES NOT mean that it's impossible for them to exist.
