Archmage sacrificed spell

instead of sacrificing a 3rd and 5th level spell, i am sacrificing a 4th and 6th level spell. not sure why.. its weird and i dont like it.

tell me so i can fix this please.

SLA (3) and SP1 are the two that are not functioning correctly.

switched spells all around and it is still selecting the same spells from the same incorrect level?

The spells slots sacrificed are the last ones on each level. You can't have any metamagic ones to sacrifice. Nor do many of the new spells work. Pick something higher up alphabetically, which is OC and with no metamagic. It's not always alphabetically, so whenever you change your spells you want to make sure you get the right spells sacrificed before finding yourself in a 'oh shit' moment.

So, you can add Displacement last there for lvl 3, and Dismissal/whatever else in your spellbook is OC for lvl 5.

i will see what i have available. this is on an orc and only memorized spells i picked up. besides the 2 free ones, but those are typically custom ones.

ill give it a try and see what happens.

If it's a big issue, I'd say you can pick 2 spells from the OC-list and kindly ask a DM to look at this thread to help you out (just my suggestion and belief in DMs). Orcs can't buy spells in shops after all (and it ain't like spell trading is great for orcs either).

ok so after two rests i found displacement and arc of lightning to act as my sac'd spells. everything is working and i very much appreciate your assistance here.
