Any other epic shortbows besides the Songbow?

Visited the epic vendor in Sshamath. Songbow is the only epic shortbow I found: +4 EB, some +mighty, +3 STR, and... +perform.

In other words, it's pretty crap for my purposes. Is there another epic shortbow available to purchase anywhere else?

None for purchase, really, but the single best shortbow I've ever seen is The Destroyer, Epic.

+4 EB/+5 Mighty, Unlimited Ammo +4, Bonus Ranged Damage Types: Bludgeoning & Slashing.

Not seen too many of those around besides the one my OOBI halfling owns, which I found in a random loot drop in the Hag Cave about 4 years ago now

You can also get Shortbow of Magic +4 from loot, or as DM reward, it is +5 Mighty with +4 Enchantment Bonus, and aside from the "Bonus Ranged Damage Types: Bludgeoning & Slashing" it should be superior to The Destroyer. You can use elemental arrows with Shortbow of Magic, while the unlimited +4 EB arrows should not add any extra damage as far as I know... Well, unless they do actually stack up for total of +8 damage, then in that case the Destroyer is a pretty swell shortbow indeed.

Hmn... Arnbjorn of the North, a merchant in the Wide has the following Shortbows:

Bow of the Great Hunt,
+4 EB,
Massive Criticals 1d6,
+2 Listen,
+4 Survival.

Raven Bow,
Improved Critical (Shortbow),
+1d4 Animal,
+1d4 Beast,
+1d4 Human,
+4 EB.

Hmn... The Mask Store merchant in Baldur's Gate Docks has the following shortbows:

Assassin's Bow,
+2 EB,
+4 Mighty,
+2 Hide,
+2 Move Silently,
+2 Spot,
+2 Tumble.

You could try the second hand gambling stores. I mean, on the surface I saw a +6 mighty with +1 intelligence. So... Maybe you get lucky, and find a decent bow there.

There was also a darksteel scalemail with +3 wisdom, which could be nice for the right divine caster.

One more question: when do the second hand shops fill? Every time I go to one they're empty. Every time. They always say they'll get more crap in the morning.

The one in the Wide had stuff in the morning, after reset. The one in the Beregost by Wandering Merchant ususally has stuff.

Perhaps you need to be first to look at them?
