and proceeded to call out to anyone who could be taken for an adventurer.

He looks to the seller. "Was I mistaken, and your display is items for bidding? The impression was that after a sum asked and an equal amount offered, was a sale made."

As the young man was "outbid" Zach grinned fiendishly.

"Heh, I'm no auctioneer but I can't well say no to an offer like that... Unless you've any immediate counter-offer both robe and blade'll be hers. Any complaints you can bring to my superiors."

[White Raven]

He reply: "When you call out for a price, as you did, say "Yours for 20 bags!" that mean to normal ears, that it is a price to be met. Not, a price that is open bid. Who are your superiors?"

[Pimple]

"That's what it means to mine too, but that doesn't mean I'm turning down an offer like hers. As for superiors I'm afraid I don't have any."

He reply: "So you are a worthless man with no honor to your own words, nor your own mind to hold to what you know? How does a man like you not receive curse from the merchant gods, for disregard to honest dealings? Are you like so others, with life within walls destroys minds and leaves rotten core, a plague of disease that fester the soul, slowly tearing away all that makes you a man? Do you turn eventually lifeless, a character without character, hide behind anonymousness to be little man, disconnected, no nature of your own, like armor without body, flesh without skeleton. A weak back, and when you are finally buried, your corpse will poison the earth."

He smiled at the woman's proposal. "Sure, why not. Long as I don't have to listen to another sermon."

Noticing the shot sword on display an half-elf sporting a feathered hat follows the exchange, grinning, then states :

"If that's so I'll double what the tricorn girl offers for that blade."

"We have a winner, SOLD! 'Nuff of this now," he said with a shooing motion. "You still want the robe, woman? Lovely hat, sir, I'm sure it's a hoot at the carnival."

with a wink of an abyssally dark eye and a tip of her tricorn hat, Gale grins at the two, "Aye.." she then gestures at the sword she lost out on, "fine blade ya pick'd up der."

The man of woodsy appearance walks off.

Some twenty minutes after, a large dark furred tabby lumbers through the wide, whiskers active and eyes slit against the changing light. The cat makes a comes around a busy corner and makes a direct line to the lootings seller stall, making meow as it rubs body against carpeted frontstpiece.

The tabby then puts back to table, tail held high and straight. Then, a forceful spray exits the rear, a line of marking stench hitting square on bench, without doubt. The great odor, sticky sulfur that clings inside the nose catches on light wind, not pleasing any in vicinity.

The dark furred tabby meow, and strut away, not far, until reaching the legs of posted Watch on wide, guarding all. The tabby lovingly rubs his body upon shins of guard, meow and turning glance over to Zach at stall, periodically.

"OI! Get away from th- NO! BY THE NINE, WHY!"

He rushed to empty a bottle of water at the cat, grumbling as he shoo'd it away.

"Bugger off, you orcspawned little menace."

He first set to cleaning the shortsword, frowning as he returned his focus to the half-elf.

"Uh... good as new?"
