Have you tried putting "game.bgtscc.net" into the direct connect instead?
I don't think our IP address has changed, but it might be the easiest fix. Sometimes people have issues with their connection for to firewalls or their Internet Service Provider too.
You sure you firewall or router ports are not to blame?

Oh I'd also suggest trying to open 5120 on your router and make sure to add nwn2main.exe to the windows fire wall exceptions. Even if this wasn't a problem before?
You live near me btw...

I don't think it's a port error - not sure anything I do would suddenly make that port not work.
I looked up what trace routes do. I think there's a problem somewhere on that 9th jump (faulty server, coffee on the power strip, hamsters got tired?) and I might not be able to do much short of wait for it to be fixed, wherever it is.
Unless there's a way to route around that faulty point, of course!
If the UDP connection was successfully accomplished by the tool, that means your route to the endpoint is successful. Anything not resolving in the path of a traceroute can just be a device that doesn't have rdns and/or not responding to ping, it doesn't mean that the route isn't still being carried.
This sounds like a negotiation issue with your router and or modem.
I had this problem only once before, it was when I was hosting a sever though not connecting to one. I remember it was router issue and... well we upgraded to a professional router =/ So I am not really sure what might have changed?
Any network specialists around?
P.S. Can you think of ANYTHING that changed since you were last able to connect?
