Trying to figure out the UpD

When I outgrow kro's decent, what area comes next. Kro's is just too easy now.

Went to oghrann and even though my map says it is up dark, I am locked out of there from xp loot.

Yep, Oghrann is tagged as UD and no XP for surfacer since last 3 updates(as i recall)

And that is fine. I am just looking for a place 20-25 in the up dark.

There isn't one, although Kro's got me all the way to 29 pretty much (all i did was 1x weekly quest run and 3/week UPD loot run for about 2 months or so, having started going there at about level 25-ish).

Yeah, you just run around in circles in the map that has 'Kro' - mobs spawn pretty fast, and even faster with more than one player in there. Quantity over quality.

for players who have a crossover guild, running epic content has to be either/or.

i was down there hoping to find content that would be good for both UD and Surface guildies.

If you are done with Kro's then it is time to move to the NOrth Reaching Woods for Gnoll killing. That is where you go from now on pretty much and do the weekly quests.

i know how to level on the surface. i got my spots. i was looking for epic content in the UpD for guild events that would include both surface and UD toons.

i went there last night and Kro's is too easy. i had one swarm summon take damage even against the yellow boss and a counterstrike. i was level 22 though. so way above CR.

there are 101 doors to nowhere there. maybe a few could open to epic content. no?

There are plenty of open doors and caves that could lead into something of the sort yeah. But since there are none currently it looks like you are SOL on this one until the future. The server content is at a point where at one point they had to trim it already so adding more content is tricky from what I understand. Not sure if they ever came to a conclusion on what to do about that. One suggestion was to partition the server so we could add more content by having 2 servers but the DEVS were worried about cross server communication and not being able to do it.

adding content to the UpD is much less of a tax on the server's space available. (that is what was said by people who know way more than I on things like this).

so, unless they are still concerned over server stability, there is not much reason to not have this. especially considering they implemented the server segregation rule to a mechanical feature.
