DM DragonClaw's Lair

Mission: To bring the Forgotten Realms to life and serve our BG community and player base through events and story telling.

Things to Remember for my events:

RP is Key: In-character RP will be rewarded in all of my events. I will ask for rolls as well so that party members can utilize and showcase their skills they invested so heavily in.

Patience: Be patient and do not rush. Give me time to organize what is going on. Do not roam ahead, (You will regret it ) unless I know you are doing it, and give other players time to respond. If you wish to do something out of the group, let me know beforehand so I can keep track of it. Walking is preferred.

Interaction: If I do not respond to your request, chances are I missed it in the chaos of text a DM is spammed with. Feel free to ask again if I did not answer the first time. This includes ROLLS or other Attempts.

Use Party Chat when instructed please. I may be too far away setting something up ahead and miss your RP.

Death: I will let you know what is allowed during an event. Generally, Raise Dead and Resurrection are allowed - IF IT'S SAFE TO DO SO.

Resting: Resting is allowed - IF IT'S SAFE TO DO SO.

Feedback: I am always open to feedback for my events, good or otherwise.

Unusual Undead Occurance

A Family Affair

The Temple in the Serpent Hills was abuzz with activity. Additional guards on duty as more and more serpents linned the halls of the grand structure... and a special guest was discovered with the Queen... Seems a relative, perhaps her sister was there to visit as two unsuspecting and interupting adventurers arrived at her lair.

One of the two met his demise running into the Queens lair alone, the other able to revive him while fighting the Queen in the heat of the battle. The honored guest comming at the two with all she had .. but the adventurers clearly had the upperhand in the end leaving with the spoils.

Bandits on the Tradeway!!

A local merchant named Tomlin in the Eastern Farmlands had to make the long trip down the tradeway from BG to Beregost to get his supplies to Thunderhammer. He asked a few adventurers to help guard the supply caravan for the trip and promised the pay would be good. Several of them agreed to it and the long journey began.

Many other adventurers joined the group as it went along. The rumors of the Tradeway's dangers became quickly apparent as there were Bandits, Cutthroats and Thieves attacking at every turn. Only a few casualties were had with such a large group of protectors but they were healed quickly.

The merchant's horse was said to be quite the feisty one bucking and kicking at the bandits if they came anywhere near the caravan. They arrived at Beregost finally and the merchant Tomlin, no worse for the wear, thanked the adventurers profusely and paid them well in gold coins.

Bandits on the Tradeway!!

Seems the Bandit attacks on the Tradeway continue...

As the Everwatch Knights of Nashkel readied for a patrol South into the Cloud Peak Mountains, a concerned Citizen over heard their conversation and plans for their patrol route.

The concerned citizen warned them of Rumors of Bandit attacks along the road as Wai-Li and Heinrich Von Rittermark prayed to Helm before heading out.

The two were successful in rooting out the bandits and cutthroats, who were attacking at strategic ambush spots, finally running off the last few stragglers with some convincing words by the Head Watch Knight Wai-Li... for now...

The Treacherous Tradeway

The treachery of the Tradeway reared it's ugly head once again as a supply wagon driven from Corm Orp to Soubar broke down on the Northern Tradeway. Hearing of the bandit attacks on the Tradeway, they sent extra guards to guard the wagon carrying three barrels of grain. As the driver and guards attempted to fix the broken wheel, a small band of Orcs came upon it and surrounded it. The guards attempted to plead with the Orcs to let them through, this grain was to feed their families. But the Orcs intimidated them and wanted the grain, the wagon and even the horse for themselves.

The guards had no choice but to try and fight them off, to no avail. When the fighting broke out, the horse that was unhooked while they tried to fix the wheel, took off for Soubar at a harried sprint. The Orcs proceeded to slaughter the small band of guards and took the wagon for themselves.

With no horse they pushed the wagon as far as they could towards Urak Lurra until it couldn't fit through the rocky terrain and decided to smash the wagon up for fire wood and carry the 3 barrels the rest of the way in. They now have about a 2 month supply of grain for the Village and additional fire wood for the fires.

Did someone say DRAGON?!

Rumour spreads that a Very Large and Very Evil Black Dragon touched down in the Fields of the Dead surrounded by Undead. A large group of Adventurers arrived to battle the Wyrm and dispatch the Undead. After the dragon fell to it's death, more undead came pouring out of the Vault of the Dead. Then an Eerie silence came over the immediate area as it returned to it's usual state.
