Epic Weapon Specialization - is it true?

If you have the Weapon and greater weapon specialization then yes. Its(:D) Each feat adds 2 damage

Further, since you have 12 levels of Fighter anyway you should also be taking Melee (or Ranged) Mastery, which adds +2 AB AND +2 Damage, and thus should be prioritized over Weapon Specialization. With epic weapon Specialization, Epic Weapon Focus and Melee Mastery You have +6 AB, +8 Damage with your selected weapon.

its also a requirement for overwhelming critical which adds massive crit damage per crit modifier, i think its +1d6 per, so 1d6 for x2, 2d6 x3 and 3d6 x4 (4d6 for scythe, only x5 weapon)

so its only really nice if you get a x4 weapon but yea, and its extra damage after the crit, not multiplied in
