Sembian Fencing and Haste

Has anyone tried to use Sembian Fencing and Haste together?

Do you get to make three attacks? Does the bonus attack from Haste get sacrificed via Sembian Fencing?

Or.. (hopefully not), do you just.. lose it altogether?

I tested it on my Swashbuckler 7 / Duelist 5 who has 3 attack per round normally. When you are trying to activate haste, Sembian fencing turns off. When you re-activate it, you still have those 2 attacks (1 at the first flurry and 1 at the second).

You'll lose haste attack too.

Does being hasted at least give you one more attack's worth of bonus, since you're sacrificing it? (+1 DEX, +2 tumble, etc.)

Haste should work with Sembian Fencing. Your number of attacks are still still limited to two and the bonus to DEX and Damage are capped at 8. So if you have 6 APR and use Haste you would not gain any additional damage benefit, but you would gain an extra point of DEX (not sure about tumble). That said, reading it I think we may want to have Valefort take another look. The bonuses are capped to avoid PTWF builds getting ridiculous bonuses, but because the tumble and damage bonus is 2 per lost attack while DEX is 1 per lost attack, a flat 8 max isn't really 'right'. The limit should be ~5 to DEX and ~10 to Tumble/Damage to allow for Haste on 6 APR.

chad, I think you mean AB not damage in the latrer half of your last post. At least on the wiki, damage should be flat at two if youre using the mode.

Which actually makes it a free two damage in low levels 8-)

*Reads scroll of Resurrection, UMD check=???*

I'm confused. Valefort says this here:
Valefort wrote: Thu Aug 09, 2018 2:15 am You'll lose haste attack too.
But in a smiliar question regarding Northern Hewing (which I imagine to be a very similar script), he says:
Valefort wrote: Mon Feb 06, 2017 5:39 pm The number of attacks described in the feat is the number of attacks corresponding to your BAB with a single weapon so 6 attacks if BAB of 26+, 5 if 21+, 4 if 16+, etc.
and that thread ends with Box saying:
WhatsInTheBox wrote: Fri Feb 10, 2017 6:40 pm Long story short is you have 6 attacks a round normally and turn on Northlander hewing you go down to 3 attacks plus the 1 from haste for a total of 4.
So if my rapier-wielding warlock with BAB 21 (5 attacks) activates sembian fencing and then casts haste (flee the scene), Does have 2 attacks with +8 or 3 attacks with +6 or (worst of all) 2 attacks with +6?

You get 2 attacks with +8. At least, Athkatlan Tripatriate works like that.
