Ulgath's Beard Along the river Chionthan there only sea water fish i cant get my cat fish there it is odd i use to have got it there get it fix

Baldur's Gate is along the river, while Ulgoth's Beard is basically at the mouth of the river. Where rivers meet the sea, you can often find some mixture of salt and fresh water fish. Thus, no harm done if Ulgoth's Beard has a small chance of getting some of the fresh water fishes too.
