Is barbarian rage supposed to stack with other strength modifiers?

I believe so, since Rage is a 'Morale' bonus, while spells/items are typically 'Enhancement' bonuses.

EDIT: Unless it wasn't hardcoded into the system and was then removed on the server, from what I remember the game had a total ability bonus cap of +12. For example, a Barbarian with Epic Rage and Bull's Strength would only have a +12 bonus, rather than +14.

Yes, it stacks. Thus with Epic Rage a ring of Might can allow a 'standard rage' barbarian to hit the +12 cap to STR and CON.

Yeah... It is. But the game still has the hard +12 cap in place.

Thus Epic Rage for +10 and and any item for +2 lets you get the most out of your strength score and Epic Rage.

You know... if only it all stacked properly because then this server would have far more Barbarian 20/Frenzied Berserker builds.

Barbarian 20 => +10 Strength from Epic Rage.
Frenzied Berserker 10 => +10 Strength from Frenzy.
A Potion of Bull's Strength => +4 Strength from magical enchantment.

A total of +24 Strength. (A +12 Modifier to damage and AB!)

I see. Thanks for the info folks. I guess it makes sense to still end on an even number for both stats then.
