Blackjack and Deadly Defense

Unread post by AlfarinIcebreaker »

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knows if those light flails sold at the Mermaid work for the purposes of Deadly Defense?

P.S. Also, will Improved Critical and Weapon Focus Flail work on it?

deadly defense with 'flails':

a 'flail' in the first hand - deadly defense gets deactivated. (as a flail is not finesse-able.)
a finesse-able weapon in the first hand and a 'flail' in the offhand, that works :o (that's a bug)

I would guess the deadly defense script validates only the first weapon.

I was of opinion that Blackjack flails were finesseable weapons, right? If so, then Deadly Defense should work while wielding Blackjack and having Combat Expertise or Parry mode activated.

Can anyone clarify?
