Undead healing

Unread post by ginsu »

Hey folks! I'm using a new toon, who is a cleric summoner. I tried to heal my undeads using negative energy spells but nothing happens. Instead, I can heal them with positive energy using regenerate and vigor spells. Is this right? Am I'm missing something?

You cannot target undead with any of the Cause Wounds spells (levels 0-4) or Harm due to changes in the summoning mechanics. Mass Cause Wounds (levels 5-9) will heal them if you target the ground under them in an AoE.

If positive energy is healing them that seems like a new bug.

Regenerate spells don't have an undead check, never had, should they get one ?

Regenerate (clr/drd 7th) works on them. Vigor/Mass Vigor do too.

Given that evil characters cannot use cause wounds level 0-4 on them currently, I don't think it is necessary to ban undead from these spells.
