i can't get past mystra, she is saying what it says in the title. i did make a character before with rcr, with the wrong diety/domain combination, and used the same name. I now use Silvanus, with Renewal, and healing. I dont know what im doing wrong

Its not even mentioned anywhere there. but it is mentioned in the tooltip for Renewal itself when selected as a domain. i have tried multiple different combinations to no avail

Animal, Plant, Protection, Water, Healing... these are the approved domains of Silvanus for this server. However, you bring up a very good point that we really need to validate and update the wiki with the correct domains for each deity. The forum page is not being updated anymore as wiki has become the agreed upon place of record. However, updating it is not much less boring/tedious then updating forum threads so anyone who has the free time and can accurately update individual pages is more than welcome to do so. Wiki can be updated by anyone, you don't have to be a mod or QC or dev or anything....

Yeah they individual god pages aren't necessarily up-to-date or easily changed. I tried to update Lathander's page myself to include renewal, but the change wouldn't take because it wanted code to be implemented rather than just plain text! Which of course meant that not everyone could update the page because what it wanted was beyond me.

Probably just needs a fix so that Renewal is an allowed domain if it is indeed supposed to be. I'll have to ask a DM to comment on that.

Well for what it's worth, Faiths and Pantheons page 63 (a D&D 3.5 Forgotten Realms source book) has Renewal listed as one of Silvanus's domains:



I don't know if Clerics had domains in AD&D, but there were none listed in Faiths and Avatars (aside from "domains" in the sense of a god's home plane).

Silvanus doesn't grant healing domain to his followers. Renewal domain is, AFAIK, already allowed and working (I asked Valefort).

In other words, the core of the issue seems to be that your character has Healing Domain, which is not supported by Silvanus per 3.0 material

I don't know if Clerics had domains in AD&D, but there were none listed in Faiths and Avatars (aside from "domains" in the sense of a god's home plane).

In AD&D priests were picking Spheres instead of Domains. Each deity had Major and Minor spheres of influence, which granted the priest access to specific powers and spells. Major gived unlimited access and minor gave limited access to such magic.

The Spheres were what the deities in AD&D were embodiment of, in major or minor way.
