Inscribe Rune questions

Greetings, I need some clarification for Inscibe rune feat for Hierophant.
Type of Feat: Class Ability
Prerequisites: Hierophant 6 or Dwarven Runesmith
Specifics: A 6th level Hierophant can learn to channel his power into runes, storing the spell for later use. He may store one spell per spell level, creating and imbuing the rune at modest expense compared to scribing a scroll of similar level.
Use: Automatic

I wanted to see if it really worth to take - and because RCR 100% is over you can not really try it and redo if its not fitting your puproses.

As i understand rune created and then imbued in the process?
What are costs compared to scroll scribing?
How it works?

Rune cost Caster Level * Spell Level * 10 per rune, cheaper than scroll scribing.

take note that its only 1 spell per lvl up to 6 spells.

for example: if you already have death ward rune and you try to inscribe rune freedom of movement. the old rune will vanish from your inventory

It creates a scroll that can't be traded or dropped, in essence. This scroll is called a "rune" and can be any CL up to your CL. The rune is slightly cheaper in cost (base price of 10, as noted above) and you can create a maximum of 6 at a time.

Note: If you have spirit shaman and use blood magic, it won't take blood magic's +CL into consideration.

How come you can only have 6 of them at once instead of 10 (one per spell level) as the feat describes?

IDK. Potatoes? :D At this point, I just think of tooltips here as slight guidelines that are also part-time liars.

Anyway, it only states "1 spell per spell level". It doesn't specify how many runes in total, but apparently that number is 6!

I'll update the TLK, there's indeed a 6 runes limit. Someone can edit the wiki with the info :)

That sounds strangely like you want to have fun.

Echew such thoughts from your head. I mean, what do you need more than 6 runes for? 6 is fine, you don't NEED any more than that. Sure it would be fun to have the same number limit as scars but FUN? Pff. Fun is for losers.

Eschew such thoughts from your head. I mean, what do you need more than 6 runes for ? 6 is fine, you don't NEED any more than this powerful mechanic. Sure it would be unjust to have the same broken amount as scars but BALANCE ? Pff. Balance is for losers.
