Picked up a job from the merchant league in Baldur's Gate Harbor district to visit Beregost's Rising Phoenix inn to pick up dues.
Visited location, spoke to all npcs within building, and receive no opption to recover dues from any of them. Job cannot currently be completed, so it appears.
Also, side question: is this the ONCE A MONTH quest that I've heard about from these guys? The caravan one, or is that something else?
Second, where in hell do you get that quest!? Is it still once a month, and is it once per REAL LIFE month, or game month, or just what?

There's a farmer dude outside the inn, at the back by the field, who might be the guy. Otherwise, click on the other NPCs in the town (exterior) if you tried everyone inside the inn.
It's frustratingly only on the 1st of the in-game month which is a bit random when that happens. For some reason, no one's wanted to change it to a nice, convenient once a week-thing.
The caravan one is probably the one that isn't a quest-quest but a dynamic-quest or what they call them.

Merchant League Dues used to be only available on the 1st day of each RL month but it was changed to be available for like the first ~10 days of each RL month. Click below for the NPC you need to speak to.
