Hello friends and fellow roleplayers. I play a few characters on the server. I just thought i'd share a status update as to why I have not been around. Some of you might know me as David Amraphel, others as Rolan Aylomen. Well, I went back to school for a semester which went pretty well. I was planning on returning to play on May however my personal computer fried beyond repair. I am currently on a notebook that was loaned to me so I have not installed discord on it yet so as not to install too many things on it. I will however be purchasing a new PC next month if all goes well. At the moment I am trying to see if this notebook can run NWN2 so I may be playing sooner than I thought. We'll see. Anyway, sorry if I have been absent for events. I do plan on returning to the server for sure once I get a new PC if this does not work. I might need a bit of help recovering my characters. Thank you for such a great server and I look forward to playing alongside all of you!

That is never fun, sorry to hear about the loss of the prior computer and hope the new one performs well.

Thank you two. I'm am able to play it on this notebook laptop. This doesn't run it very well though i'm dealing with integrated graphics.. argh.. Intel HD 520. At least for now. I started a new character for the time being. Once I get my PC i'll likely get back to Rolan Aylomen first. On the brightside, I did purchase extended warranty for my PC that fried. They were unable to repair it so they sent me the cost of it in form of a check which is awesome. I do want to upgrade to a 2080 RTX ti to be future proof so i'm saving up a bit more until next month. I look forward to joining in on the player and DM made events.

Hello again everyone! I am pleased to say that I will be returning to my foray into D&D, albeit likely through NWN1 EE on Steam for the time being do to web traffic at the moment. That being said, I do consider many of you dear friends and believe it or not when I spent about a year in jail I was most definitely plotting a new player character. During certain times of the day I'd recall moments we had together throughout the years. That being said, I do plan on someday returning to BG when such a thing is less cumbersome in my current situation. Apart from that, Isra, Rag, and the forgotten Knight of Torm as well as so many other friends hold a special place in my memory. Okay, so I forgot some of your player character names here and there, but the times we shared grinding, looting, pillaging, raiding, and of course keeping the virtual roads safe for the would be traveler, well, those moments are a therapeutic device in my cognitive function. *silent laughter*

in short, I am still living, so you guys and gals, let's get this show on the road.
