I swear I’m freaking cursed.

And I know we’re all suffering here. But I think I may be the source. The root of all Evil.

Couple year’s back, had my new char all planned out, spent months working on his bio so that I was ready to jump in and pump the RP. Invested hours getting the font right, uploading images, formatting signatures. Not a twinker, but planned his early item loadouts. Only to find that the server was suddenly -- mysteriously -- offline.

Another time, I’m like 200 xp from 30. Server crashes and does not come back. Forced to drown my sorrows at the kitchen bar top. Wife not sympathetic. Much loneliness drifting in the gray void.

And then there was the Return of Middle Earth II server. Great server. Ramped up to a massive RP all-hands-on-deck, take-the-dragon-down event. Arkum Vhett was among the vanguard. But the dragon… it was huge… too HUGE for the server to handle… brought the entire hardware down… we were not to survive. Server did not come back online. Tears were shed.

And now this.

2300 measly XPs from lvl 27. A point where my dude gets some really, really, really good things.

But the thing is, there’s this message… “Currently offline.”

I swear I’m freaking cursed.

But my cat loves me. My wife is a bit less sure. But it’s okay. Because my cat loves me.

Second time—last 2 100% RCRs as well— where I actually had a complete day off from Life where I literally could spend the whole day on BGTSCC without anyone or thing in RL to bother me...and the Server is offline.

Here's to all those less-than-a-finger-of-booze-left bottles that you keep around cause ya think it's gonna come in handy...and then it does!
