Necklace Slot Warping

Here's an interesting one...

Recently I was doing some inventory management and selling off magical items in my bags (prior to knowing there was an in-game fence and forum marketplace). I had a duplicate necklace in my inventory, which I double checked to ensure I hadn't swapped them out. Sure enough, I was wearing a +3 nat necklace, and had another in my inventory.

So I vendored the necklace.

After relogging, I noticed I did not have a necklace in my neck slot. It appeared as if there was a glitch, and the one I was wearing showed up in both locations. I ate it as a loss, and vowed to double check duplicates in the future.

Fast forward to yesterday, and the same issue presented itself. I didn't fall for the ploy, and refused to sell the necklace... but it's the same issue, with the same slot (and the same inventory space I believe as well).

Not sure if anyone else had issues of this type in the past (as I have not delved into every post here) but wanted to create some awareness. If more details are needed, I can try and document everything I was doing to help the DMs, I just didn't have the awareness at the time to do so.

It's a graphic bug and happens with other slots too.

As a general advice before selling, sort your inventory and beware of equippable item at the end of your inventory.

Indeed, it's a fairly old bug. I'd advise contacting the DMs to ask for a replacement if the necklace was important to you, they should be able to help.

Yeah, you can get that we've all equip-able items. You can mostly check by trying to overlap them with each other. If you switch them out with each other a couple of times, then sometimes it'll de-duplicate (if that makes sense?)
