Alyssia was born into the temple, the younger of two siblings, she followed her mother into the priesthood of the Temple of Beauty while her older brother took to being a songwriter and poet, and then later the Ruby Rose as a Squire. Alyssia took to the rituals of the temple with eagerness and blessings soon followed quickly. jealous glances from her peers occasionally were given as her apparent favor from Lady Firehair manifested themselves and Alyssia even became relaxed in her morning rituals.

Pampering within the temple was high, and she seldom needed to leave the grounds of the temple. Her rewards for her goddess' favor was a relatively easy life away from the worries and conflicts of men and other beasts. This lead to her nievity of the world, and even the politics within her own temple often eluded her.

Eventually the jealous glances and whispers behind her back were enough to finally send her on her own adventure out of the temple. Her mother had convinced the rest of the high priestesses within the temple to sponsor her passage to a temple that holds a shrine and dedication to Sune, the temple that was chosen was the Halls of Light within the city of Baulder's Gate, as they were recovering from a long two year war with devils.

Goals:
-To see the Halls of Inner Light gain prominence in Baulder's Gate though;
--sponsoring festivals and artists of all kinds
--helping people feel joy and love
--aiding in maters of the heart
--and when able, to host weddings and other joyous celebrations of the people.
-learn to defend herself, and how to fight in order to protect love and beauty outside of the city. -Completed
-To earn the Title "Heartwarder of Baulder's Gate"
- Enter into Duchess Liia's Low Court and become one of her Confidants.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
-Family could come visit, or come to see the progress made on her assignment
-Brother could be played by another PC (PM me if interested!)
-divine ancestor comes to visit and demands or asks her to perform or find something for Sune
-Focuses on Healer role, both mundane and Divine means.
-Sacrificed her Divine Blood for the ability to pact with Michi, The White Rose, favored angel of Sune

Ronja and Alyssia cousin relations and Alyssia's pedigree:
Hidden: show
Alexios Leonheart
Image

Thomas Leonhart would certainly remember his Uncle Alexios. The younger brother of Nicolaj and even for a poor house of luskan fame, managed to seem somewhat of a black sheep. Alexios was gifted with a silver tounge and could talk many a man out of hard earned coin. He did not spare his family from it either. Alexios was a gambler, and a poor one at that, barely keeping up with his debts and more then once stumbling back to the family home with a bloody nose or black eye. He would talk Nicolaj and Thomas into giving him gold time and again, and for him to loose it all on some poor venture or gamble. Eventually it got so bad that the family had removed him from the house, no longer able to keep with his antics and keep what food they could on the table. However, even this did not sate Alexios, and managed to talk his way onto a ship as a crew member. However, at the first port of call on the merchant ship, Alexios was such a poor worker that he was swiftly kicked off the ship, into Waterdeep.

Waterdeep Connections

Alexios' silver tongue served him well in the City of Splendors, many a merchant and dock worker offered an open coin purse to him well enough that he could keep himself fed and sheltered in an inn on the docks. It was here that he came across Helenia, beautiful daughter of a rich merchant with deep pockets. He managed to woo himself into the family and into the fortune, but old habbits die hard, and he quickly found himself squandering the family fortune. After siring one Son, Marcus Leonheart, and no changes in his poor habits he was eventually removed from this house as well. However he would always pester his wife for money and she would often cave to the man's sweet snake-like words.

Marcus Leonheart

Marcus was born into a broken home with his father constantly pleading for coin and looking more and more destitute. He had however inherited his father's gift of gab, and even found himself writing elegant poetry, singing songs, and picking up a lute. He found himself often performing for his family parties and amusing the merchants that came to make deals with his family. Often he found himself playing out in the streets as well, but his favorite was being commissioned at the Temple of Beauty within the city. His Father took note of his success and would often track him down for coin, to which the son always felt pity for and offered him a few coins to make it for the next week or so.

Marcus learned of his cousin's relations with another Waterdeep family when they came to barter and deal with his own. The Haukseworth family almost cut ties with their business deals with his own merchant family when they learned of Marcus' surname. However, he proved over time that he was of no threat and not like his father and uncle. Because of the taint to his surname he decided rather then changing it that he would not speak of it's origins, nor would he reach out to connect with any who shared his surname. He'd keep it private for the rest of his life while trying to move on with his own.

Entwining of Hearts

Marcus' performances were noticed by the Temple of Beauty, and at first they had sponsored him, and a young priestess took to his eye. After a short while, he offered to become a Knight of the Ruby Rose, and through dedication and hardwork while placing his faith completely in the temple and in Sune, he was knighted. His charge was given to protect the Lovely priestess that had caught his eye in the first place, Cassandra La Murie. They traveled the coast, promoting the faith, blessing weddings, and when needed to protect beautiful places when asked. During their travels they fell in love, married, and soon had two children, a daughter, Alyssia, and a son.

Cassandra La Murie

Cassandra La Murie was a priestess of Sune with a long pedigree of Sunite priestesses within the Temple of Beauty stemming back to the founding of the temple, that some say was built near a Nymph pool by which her family may stem from. Her genealogy is hard to track down as her descendants were always female within the temple, and names changed with marriage and wasn't always recorded correctly. Her mother and the rest of the line were always born redheaded however, and was a sign of favor from Lady Firehair, and as such always held the lineage in high regards.

Young Alyssia was told of her pedigree of Sunite Priestesses, and was expected to follow, by which she did dutifully. And in turn she was shown favor by the goddess. During her training in her younger years, An old decrepit man came into the temple asking for her father Marcus, a short meeting happened between her and her father and harsh words were exchanged before Marcus had the man dragged out of the temple by the Knights of Ruby Rose and had him barred from ever entering the temple. Later, her curiousity lead her to peer at the name that was banned from the temple, and her eyes went wide. "Alexios Leonhart." When she asked her father about it, he came clean about the relation, but kept closed about any of the family history that he had come by.

IC changes to Bio
Hidden: show
Alyssia traded her divine blood for a pact with Michi (((change to human for extra skill points and an extra feat when changing from FvS/Cleric to Cleric/Heiro/Thaum))). As a result, she lost some of her presence ((Cha)) and most of her strength, but in return gained a great gift and appreciation for clerical duties and studies as she delves further into the role of Priestess over Knight.
