Born 32 years ago, Malaz was orphaned on the steps of an Ilmater monastary just outside the Uthgardt. Never knowing his true family was a benefit to him, for it left him open to embrace the ideals of his sensei. This man not only raised him, but taught him all he needed to be a monk. His days were filled with in depth exercises, meditation, and the path of a peasent warrior. His early years were tough. Fighting his very heritage as a half-orc, the violent impulses, but he endured. Spending hours in single poses left him more flexable then most of his kin, but it left him slightly less strong. He became very much built like a panther, power yet lithe.
His days not filled with training, were filled with history. Malaz became very well read, and even eventually learned to speak 3 languages, and right in two of those, as orc has no real written language. For all his strengths, Malaz has 1 major weakness, he is very shy, prefer to hide his face, rather then offend those who look at him. Unless he knows a person, he usually covers his face with his hands while talking. He is a follower of Ilmater, but his knowledge is limited. He has adopted the philosophy of he must endure, endure racisim, hate, predjudice, and his own instincts.
Malaz's master taught him many things, most of all how to endure hatred, as his master was a half elf. Malaz holds no hatred towards those who are prejudice to him, he understands his place as a second class citizen. The one thing Malaz always does is defend, the weak, the helpless, the coomoner, even in hatred he tries to defend them. The most memorable story from Malaz's earlier years was during training.
During an intense 7 hour training regiment, he was fatigued, but holding his ground. It was the 23 man of a 30 man ku-matay, every 30 seconds someone else enters the ring. He stood there as the rest scattered, a loud roar was heard. He turned around, and there stood a dire tiger. Malaz saw death that day, but not his death, just in the eyes of the tiger. The tiger lunged clawing Malaz's chest, leaving 3 scars. The attack spun him around, and the beast clawed his back as well. Leaving 4 more scars. Dropping to his knees, he kipped up after the attack and hit the tiger in a tender spot, stunning it.
Finally the master came forth, walked up to Malaz saying enough! The master has perfected the sacred flame, and without landing a blow, chased the tiger off in a power, divine display. That day Malaz realized what his master had been training him for. Since then he has wandered the lands, spending time in Cormyr, the Shining South, the Moonsea, Menzoberranzan, and now The Sword Coast. Suffering the trials of his life has made him the man he now is. One thing is this, Malaz will wander till the time he is needed to return to his monastary as the new master.

***A few roleplaying notes****
Inflict wounds spells are considered evil, that is the reason for this rp note.
Malaz does use inflict wounds, but not as the spell, he uses it as a martial arts move called Waterfall fist. This is because the animation for it for a half orc, he raises his hand then drives it down on the target. This looked like a waterfall for me, so i use it as a *closed palm martial arts move. Malaz himself prefers open hand martial arts, and he saves this technique for when things are dire.
Roleplaying his 6 charisma.
Malaz's 6 charisma is roleplayed as being very shy. He tends to cover his face talking to others. He is also very booky, his intelligence on this writing was 13.
Launguages
Unlike most half orcs, Malaz's first language is common, then he learned orc, and dragonic. He reads and writes common and dragonic, but is fluent in all 3.
Religon
He follows Ilmater, but is not well versed in the actual religon. He choose Ilmater, for he to feels the need to endure.
PVP
In pvp he tries to avoid killing, he stuns, and usually falls back. In the rare event he does kill someone he carries them to a temple to raise them.
these are the most common rp notes for Malaz.
