I call to Waukeen, goddess of the marketplace,
goddess of the the deal, from whose hands fall shining coins.
I call to Golden Lady of good management, who knows the ways of thrift.
Grant me a keen eye to spot a bargain, I pray;
grant that I know false economy from true.

Personality Profile:
Belvedere is a cunning woman. People who first meet her may think she’s selfish, but it’s only one of her many moods. In fact, moody would best describe her. When it comes to business deals, she’s ruthless. When profit isn’t involved, Belvedere can be very pleasant to be around. Once she’s made up her mind, only an act of the gods can change it and even then it’s not always guaranteed. She can’t stand thieves and those who disrespect the goddess of trade, Waukeen. Belvedere has a crafty personality, even admitting herself that she's greedy. She likes it when people benefit when she benefits, though despite her faults, she is actually sympathetic and has a strong sense of duty. Belvedere is very protective of those she cares about. She enjoys fashion, but is a little too obsessed with her appearance for a priestess. She displays a seductive demeanor, often causing those she interacts with to become embarrassed. Because of her incredible luck as a Waukeen priestess, good fortune tends to follow her.

Background:
Belvedere’s father was a sailor with calishites blood in his veins and her mother a merchant, who didn’t venture too far out of Athkatla. Ishpen was the son of a sailor himself and took the seas when he was old enough. On one such trip, he arrived in City of Coin and came upon one of the main markets when he was on shore leave. He met a beautiful merchant with dark blue eyes. For him, it was love at first sight. Amina was the daughter of a merchant, so she knew the trade well.
They were married less than five months when Amina became pregnant with Euric. Ishpen was out of work, but she was the one who brought in the money. But when she became pregnant, she insisted he find some work. Ishpen settled on fishing. Euric was born in Athkatla in the spring. Though, they did try to keep from having another child for awhile, until six years after Euric’s birth, Belvedere was accidentally conceived.
Euric and Belvedere grew up in Athkatla, usually raised alone by their mother when their father was out fishing. They helped her set up shop when they were old enough, and visited the temple of Waukeen weekly. Belvedere was interested in following her mother’s trade as she grew older, so she watched her closely and helped with the business.
When Euric was seventeen and Belvedere eleven, a storm sunk their father’s fishing vessel and Ishpen was lost at sea. Amina sank into a deep depression. Uncertain on what he should do, Euric turned to the Goldspires, a temple of Waukeen and spoke to priestess Farielle for guidance. Farielle convinced Euric to join the priesthood and bring his sister along.
Euric instantly joined the order of Golden Lady, but Belvedere was just a child. However, she was raised in the temple and when she turned thirteen, she was initiated as a novice priestess. At seventeen, she was raised to full priestess.
Later on, they came to take care of their mother shop. Eventually, they bought their own company with their amassed wealth. Now, the temple has enough faith in Belvedere to send her out into the world.
