Hierophant/SS multiclass bug-ish?

When multiclassing SS to Hierophant, according to the requirements one should be able to take the first level of the class at level 15 the earliest. However, I found such is not a case, and did not test out the build long enough to see if it becomes available on the higher levels.

My own test was only done in that age-old Jeg's module, but then I talked to someone who had done a similar build on BH and they said they were unable to take the class until around 18th level, for some reason.

If the server still goes by the 3by20 rule, and if I have understood the rule correctly, this makes it virtually impossible to multiclass into anything else except hierophant. Which is fair, but it would be nice to have a forewarning on it in the description.

Did you log out and then back in? I had to do that on my cleric to get it at 15th.

Jeg's builder does not have the scripts the server is running. If Hierophant relies on feats to check eligibility, which, seeing it checks for wis/cha, it should work like Shadowdancer.

In such a case, ask someone on the server with 19 cha/wis and cleric/ss/druid levels for the name of the feat the game gave them, and try to add it to your PC in the builder through the feat-giving NPC.

While I did my own in Jeg's, the other person said that this was a problem they had on Baldur's Gate server itself, not being able to take the levels until 18 despite the requirements being met.

You met all of the requirements? Including the 19 Wis requirement? Also, the requirement to be able to cast 7th level spells means you must physically be capable of casting those spells right at that second. Which means, you need to rest if you have not done so so that you have those spells available.

Yeah, there should not have been any issue, which was strange.

sometimes relog twice until you get a popup message when you login that says something like this
