Bolkai Deephearth - BG - Seeking - Closed

A small mountain of a dwarf can be seen perusing the wares and inquiring amongst the merchants of Baldur's Gate Bazaar. As he continues stall after stall, the dwarf looks both in disbelief and seems disheartened. After a while, he sits on an empty crate and pens several notes. Offering the errand runners a few coppers each, he hands each of them a note to deliver to the merchants permanently here and traveling often.

"My name is Bolkai, of Clan Deephearth, a recent transplant to this here coast. I seek a shield enchanted to not interfere with any arcane castings nor manipulations. If you have what am seeking, I reside at the Elfsong Tavern and willing to pay for such a relic." After reading the note over several times, he adds "Size does not matter."

Julia "la Belle" happens across the missive while browsing a market, and shares an amused smirk with the merchant.

"Well, someone has certainly been lied to all their life, haven't they?" she quips with a wink, before her attention is distracted by some shiny bauble or other.
