One of the main inspirations I had when I made Khali was the Initiate of the Seven Fold Veil. https://dndtools.net/classes/initiate-o ... fold-veil/. I have always enjoyed anti-wizardy wizards and Abjurers in particular. One look at the class itself makes it obvious that coding it would be hell on the NwN2 engine (also I doubt anyone but me would play it), but as a side note something I feel is dearly missed in the game are the abjuration prismatic spells.
So you could easily guess that my favorite spells in PnP DnD is Prismatic Wall and Prismatic Sphere.

Seeing as we have put other walls into the game, is there any chance these could be added as well? I can understand simplifying them a bit compared to their PnP equivalents. Rather than hitting the person with every one of the colors and making dispelling the magics extremely difficult, you could just have the target get hit by a random color each time they pass through (with a chance to get hit with multiple colors). Assuming the duration gets drop down from 10minutes a level, I would like to see something more than it just being a stationary, weaker version of prismatic spray, but other than that I am really willing to accept anything that gets these added into the game.

Re: Add Prismatic Wall and Sphere
WIth how stupid the AI is either of these two spells would kill countless monsters, the effects cannot be as powerful as save or die or the duration needs to be so short that the amount of kills made by a wail of the banshee would be the same.

Hi Zkenic,
I have posted your request to the QC Forums for review. This does not mean anything will be done, only that it has been posted for review/consideration. I would like to call out that Prismatic Spray is an Evocation spell spell and while the SRD confirms that Wall/Sphere are Abjuration that seems a bit odd to me. However, reading up on them (as you can tell it has been a while since I reviewed this, probably since I actually played 2e PnP 20-odd years ago.
So it appears at first glance that the Wall / Sphere operate completely differently from the Spray and thus I am not certain can be coded like-for-like as listed in PnP (stopping ranged weapons, spells, breath, etc. is quite different from applying immunity to a PC so not sure if it is even possible). In any case, it's posted for discussion and I will defer to dev team regarding what they can/can't do.
@Valefort, after reviewing the SRD they don't have the same save/die effects as Spray (well, they have some of the same effects, at a minimum the duration would def. need to be really short)...

Re: Add Prismatic Wall and Sphere
Thanks for taking a look. I can understand if there isn't a way to put them into the game without breaking some sort of balance, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to throw it out there and see what people think. I do love me my abjuration magics.

You're not alone in finding those spells fun ! Toning down the effects should be fine, maybe use wall of fire as a baseline, effects could also be triggered one by one, peeling off the spells each time ?

Re: Add Prismatic Wall and Sphere
What about making the wall work like wall of fire, and the sphere work like an AoE burst instead of a spherical wall spell and have one or two effects trigger (like Prismatic Spray) instead of round by round? So anyone walking through the wall (or remaining in the wall) has a chance of either 1 or 2 effects triggering (on entry and each round). As to the other part of a Prismatic Wall, can those effects even be made to work? Technically the Red wall stops nonmagical ranged weapons, the orange wall stops magical ranged weapons, the yellow wall stops poisons, gases (clouds) and petrification; the green wall stops breath weapons; blue stops mental attacks/divination; indigo stops all spells from getting through. There is also the mechanic about being able to remove the layers one at a time if that is possible since (greater) dispel magic is not supposed to destroy the wall, only strips one layer. Mords should destroy the wall, regardless.

Re: Add Prismatic Wall and Sphere
Having to destroy the each layer of the wall and/or getting all the protections the wall provides is super cool, but I just assumed it would be too much work to make. I have no coding experience or knowledge though, so feel free to prove me wrong.
