Hello!
Currently, when your toon casts Invisibility or Gr. Invisibility on themselves, they shift slightly transparent. Every so slightly, just enough to tell (but it's not always easy to tell, depending on lighting, Darkvision use, etc.).
While itself this isn't really a problem, what IS a problem I keep encountering is that when other toons have Blindsight or See Invisibility active, they will see my/said toon under Invisibility, and...talk to it as if nothing is going on, as if my own toon IS visible to the World (but is not, only to this or that toon). What I am assuming here is that the Player cannot also see, visually on the screen, that my/said toon is actually invisible, and perhaps RPs as if the toon IS visible...and this just gets a bit weird, because there is no "I see you..." communication beforehand—it can be like a "nods to the fellow" or "Hello!", like my/said toon is just out in the open.
I don't think this should be, and what I'm going to suggest here is that the Invisible Effect is updated to be much more...apparent. Glaring, if it has to be. So that when another toon with Blindsight or See Invisibility DOES see an invisible toon, there is a very obvious difference in that appearance for the Player to see and realize, and thus hopefully can RP with some more...I hate to say it...appropriate reactions?!?
I just think it would be helpful, if that "State of Inviso" had a grander Effect and gave out a much more visually informative appearance.
Thoughts?
PS— sorry Snarf, I didn't see you Emoted until I was transitioned off, and then I had to log. But the situation did make me think of the above, and of course, previous situations!

Re: "Grander" effect for when seen but Invisible
That situation is familiar and is indeed annoying, from a lore perspective we have, specifically for see invis :
I'll separate the visual from the acutal invisbility effect, that way invis people will remain transparent even when seen. You can see any objects or beings that are invisible within your range of vision, as well as any that are ethereal, as if they were normally visible. Such creatures are visible to you as translucent shapes, allowing you easily to discern the difference between visible, invisible, and ethereal creatures.
