Add a Boat Option to Winding Waters

Name says it all. NPCs will take you via boat to BG, Candlekeep, and a few other places. Why not add Winding Waters to that.
Already asked before. Answer was it's too shallow and marshy, and there's no harbor at the mouth. It might be possible for low draft riverboats to head down the river, but without a port at the end to change ship moving down the coast to Roaringshore or further might be difficult. Some sources also talk about there being cataracts, which would also make boat travel difficult.
That being said, there has been some efforts IC to getting a boat option. Not sure if they've gone anywhere though.
