Hello there!
Havent been on in ages but wanted to come back and give it a spin.
Main question is what attack bonus is necessary to be viable endgame?
I was making a gish and have a choice to end with 30 str/22 int or 18 str/32 int. The int route would utilize combat insight. It apears that the damage will be a wash for me , but the intelligence lends to higher skill amounts for RP and other skills for a complete set of fun stuff.
Of course, the Str route would have a higher to hit in the end. 6 higher to hit for the str build. What would be a reasonable amount of attack bonus, and what would ideal number be (obviously higher)?
Thanks in advance! I dont want to go through the motions of leveling and gearing something that would be ineffective. Not really looking to polymorph either as I would like to keep my beautiful form.
Also, the intelligence route would allow my spell DCs to not be complete garbage and get extra spell slots, but my main concern is to hit. I personally would prefer the intelligence route for the skill points but was curious what the 'endgame' stats should look like.
