Re: Dragon Companion - Bug + Request
Somewhat related, the worg companion is also pretty tiny, which doesn't feel appropriate for a worg. Feels like it should be the size of telthor, rather than normal wolves.

According to Draconomicon, blue dragon wyrmling is 3 feet tall, so it really depends how old the dragon is to really say if it's too big or too small, I would recommend taking a look at the lore books before jumping to conclusions.

Isnt the companion tied to alignment? I am not sure why a good dragon would associate with a drow, assuming it is evil anyway.

The good dragon might not have a choice.Planehopper wrote: ↑Mon Jan 25, 2021 10:25 pm Isnt the companion tied to alignment? I am not sure why a good dragon would associate with a drow, assuming it is evil anyway.
Just because a creature is a companion, doesn't mean it is a willing one.
I wouldn't put it past a drow ranger to force a brass dragon into servitude. Seems to fit the whole drow culture of power above all.

Re: Dragon Companion - Bug + Request
except thats exactly what it generally means, you perform a calling for a companion and one answers, there is no forcing anything to take that role
dont confuse companions and familiars with normal summons and bindings
everyone is evil till proven otherwise

Then it wouldn't be an animal companion...zhazz wrote: ↑Mon Jan 25, 2021 10:39 pmThe good dragon might not have a choice.Planehopper wrote: ↑Mon Jan 25, 2021 10:25 pm Isnt the companion tied to alignment? I am not sure why a good dragon would associate with a drow, assuming it is evil anyway.
