Geographical Locations

Unread post by Thaelis »

There's a couple of places not shown on the wiki map, or the canon Forgotten Realms map, whose approximate location I'd like to know.

Gullykin
It has transitions to Wood of Sharp Teeth, Beregost and Durlag's Tower but not Nashkel, so I presume it's between those three. However, the Gullykin map appears very rocky, so can I also presume it's much closer to Durlag's than Beregost? FR wiki just states that it is east of Beregost.

Can this be added on the map please? Thanks!

Doron Amar
I presume this isn't marked on the map because it's supposedly hidden (though considering how many people wander in not hidden all that well :D ). Could I at least get an idea of if it's North/South/West/East of the Wood of Sharp Teeth? Again I presume it's South because it has a transition to Uldoon Trail and Gullykin nearby.

If there's any other unmarked places please feel free to add below!
Cheers

Gullykin is stated "North of Firewine Bridge", as well as "hard up against" the old elven settlement of Firewine Bridge. South of Sharp Teeth. East of Beregost. Couple miles from Durlags.

I am told Firewine Bridge is intended to be that bridge on the Uldoon Trail map, just before Durlags. And then on our server there *are* ruins next to Gullykin, which should be the old Firewine settlement, but they aren't the same as that Bridge, are they?

I think there used to be a map that was a sort of crossroads that put the area into some perspective, but it was removed due to space issues. Sometimes we have to fudge areas to make it work. I just try not to picture that area too much I guess. I'd love to see a server-lore version of that map.

Thanks both of you 🙏

So it seems like Uldoon trail should have a transition to Gullykin rather than Cloud peaks/Nashkel :D
