Do the Spell Focus (Conjuration) line of feats have any benefit when casting healing spells on friendly targets? I get that they might help if you want to increase the DC when casting them on undead, but does it have any beneficial effect when actually trying to heal damage?
I was wondering because I love playing healers, but I hadn't drawn the connection that the Cure spells were actually Conjuration spells until just now. Derp.

No. There are no DCs when casting on friendly opponents, so spell focus feats serve no purpose for healing. What you want instead is feats like Augment Healing, which requires 4 ranks in the Heal skill.

Re: Spell Focus Conjuration for healing
Some healing spells do have DCs when cast on friendlies, but that should only come up in either DM events, or interacting with someone who knows this fact and their character for some reason doesn't want to accept the spell (either consciously or subconsciously).
