This thread is for short in character descriptions and write ups for the benefit of those involved in the related events and those interested in becoming involved. As such please keep to a few simple rules as follows:
Keep it short- Posts should be two or three sentence long without follow up. It is to notify others of what has happened, who was involved and any general rumours now pursuant to the ongoing events.
Do not have conversations here- As per above, this is not a message board to discuss with others, please message one another or catch up in game. This should be an easy way for players to see who else is doing things and who they should speak to to get involved/team up.
Keep it in character- Simple short rumours about what happened or what your character is up to is all that is needed. OOC stuff is for messages.
Do not post if you are not involved- If you are interested in getting involved, MESSAGE a player that has posted here first as a point of contact.
I will try to keep the first couple of posts updated with the most recent rumour/event/notifications for those interested in getting involved as well as the currently booked times for planned activities.

New Arrivals and Old Hands
Some unusual people have been active around the coast, nothing new there. Imported arcanists, professional mercenaries, famed duelists and a number of nobles have been filtering into the coast over the past two tenday. Some have taken on obscure and rather boring seeming tasks while others have actively been organising delves for rather unusual items and rare antiquities. At least one such delve has ended in unexpected darkness being released, with a section of Cloakwood being temporarily infused with negative energy and a stampede of undead horses.

Glimpses of strange shadowy figures carrying red cards are reported around Soubar. The sudden influx of shadow people caught many of the sentinels there off guard as the shadowy delivery people travelled through the area in all directions. Those with knowledge of their deliveries find it as strange and lacking in details as the messengers themselves.
Rhaeg let out a frustrated snarl, dusting his hands off from the ashes of yet another Light scroll - He'd tried every color of the spectrum. The text scribed upon one side of the red card on the table before him was an invitation to a party that was so obviously a trap that he felt compelled to attend just to spring it.
While that text was only revealed under light, it was missing a crucial piece of information for this "party" - A date. He had tried to see if one would reveal itself under different-colored light; halfway through the list, he also attempted to see if it would only reveal itself in complete darkness. None of what he'd tried had worked.
Who would send an invitation to a remote gathering without telling the invited when it was to occur?
She looked at the parchment again. She had heard the spirits speaking over it. She had felt the draw to go. She had a feeling that much like Kazgoroth, this evil would call to her in when the time was right. The shadows were pulling from all directions it seemed. All she could do now was prepare to answer.
Casually standing outside The Baldur's Gate Red Wizard Enclave, Lord Magus Samael Sal, Circle Leader of the school of Transmutatoin, accepts a strange invitation from a shadowy messenger. Samael scowls and adjusts his glasses to better examinine the invitation, flipping it over in his hands multiple times. He turns to attempt to assult the messenger with a barrage of questions, but the messenger has already departed, slinking off into the darkness.
