I have very inconsistent results with magic vestment and dispelling.
When there is a dispel notice for magic vestment, sometimes it gets dispelled and sometimes it does not. I cannot reproduce the conditions for each outcome.
What is the intended behaviour? Is it a bug that it gets dispelled sometimes or is it a bug that is does not get dispelled sometimes?

Re: Magic Vestment
It used to only dispel on log out as a patchwork response to people finding a permanent way to bug it on items. Some quirk of the game previously meant that both Keen/weapon of impact/GMW/Magic vest would not be dispelable (likely because the effect is on the item and not the player) It has been since changed with the intent to make is dispelable IIRC

Re: Magic Vestment
From my own experience with on-gear spell effects (Greater/regular magic weapon, keen edge, weapon of impact, magic vestment, etc.), the list seen under the Remove Effects display doesn't properly reflect the effects applied to the items themselves. There is one instance of the effect visible in the list that doesn't actually affect the item properties, as well as another effect applied to the item which isn't visible on the list but does affect it. Both show up in the dispel readout under the same name, and each one can be removed individually. This may make it somewhat difficult to determine if the effect is still applied or properly removed from the event log alone, since the non-effective 'visible' label and the actual item bonus are functionally separate. However, the actual bonuses to items still appear to be removed at the appropriate CL vs. CL checks regarding the respective dispel meant to strip them off.
