Headgear that is considered a mask by BG guard

First, this headgear choice got my PC thrown in jail when I wasn't looking, because the BG guards think it was a mask:



Do I need to somehow reformat the base value, and how is that done again? Thanks.

Second, can I humbly suggest the Media Team start a thread for problems with media/custom content/appearances/graphics? Something more universal to check and discuss, instead of say clogging up the Feats thread? Cheers.

It's considered a mask by the base item, not the appearance. So if you bought an item that is a mask or you used the old appearance changer first, setting it as a mask, the script will think it's a mask, even if you then change it with the new appearance kit.

Sorting that out is a monumental task, if I am to understand Valefort.

So what you can do is use the old appearance changer to change to a base item that isn't a mask, and then change with the new kit to get the appearance you want.

But what is weird is I swear it worked fine among the Guards when it was an earlier hood appearance. Alas, I will take your advice. Cheers.
