Mudds in Soubar

Unread post by YYA »

So, I tried to find the in game second hand shop of soubar, and instead of his old cart he apprently has started his own shop. I click on the transition, and off I get teleported into the mainmenu. If I try to join the second server, off I return to the main menu, and joining the first server sends me back to nexus. Probably reported somewhere already.
If you are offended by what I said have said above, I have recieved my last warning, I have discussed Intuitive Attack, so report - for I do not mind. Getting me banned is nothing special, it happens every week. But you could also choose not to be offended, this place needs more banter, your choice.

it is my understanding that, in order to ensure unfettered trade access between the Underdark/Soubar and the Gate, the entire consignment system is retained on Server 1 with any former MUDDs representatives now quasi-replaced with a inter-server transition.

If you get bounced from a server, it tends to retain that your last location was [other server] until you use a transition to get back into it, unfortunately.
If you need to get back to Soubar, I'd recommend zoning in to East Gate and taking the Thundar's Ride transition, or checking if one of the NPCs in the nexus can shoot you straight to Soubar.
I play a baker. Sometimes she provides counseling or treatment.
Ask about our Breadflower daily special to save five coppers off a purchase of five pastries.
She seems unusually interested in cursed items.
She has also been seeking a variety of gems and stones.

Sadly, bouncing issue is still here. I hope Devs will find the source of it and fix it reliably soon.

Speaking of mudds suddenly moving to Server 1 is due to mechanical reasons. We have one database for auction items and that kind of database doesn't allow simultaneous access, so two servers can't work with one DB at the same time. Thus, as the easiest workaround, all Mudds were moved to Server 1 into special area.
I will close this one since it's not Mudds related in fact, but a part of more general issue which was reported already.
