Double weapon mastery with Halberds

Taking weapon mastery piercing and slashing with eg halberds, is it a "feature" or a bug? Asking for a friend

PS they stack for +4AB +4damage

they dont stack, last i tried a few weeks ago

It was about the nicest thing about picking a halberd as a weapon, considering you have the 12 fighter lvls and another feat to take.
