Heya! It's me again, the guy who doesn't play Spirit Shaman, but can't stop building them...
... Anyway, I was wondering if there is a reason for Ring of Halo (sold in En Dharasha Everae) not to have Spirit Shaman included on list of spell slots it provides.
honestly, if it has wizard/sorc pairing, being the study/spontanious caster equivalents, druid/shaman is totally legit IMO too.
Derik "Crimson Bulwark" Ranloss: Thugging for GREAT JUSTICE!!! (yes, I know he doesn't wear red) Headmaster:Bladestone Foundation.

The increased number of magical properties tends to increase the base value of an item, unless you manually set the base value of the item, if my memory serves. And anyhow, when the that ring was originally made, I am not sure if the guild in question had any Spirit Shamans under its ranks, or if it does today.
the elves of Yuirwood/those who follow Rillifane are somewhat compatible with the idea of spirit shamans. Rillifane absorbed some of the great spirits of Yuirwood into himself/his court, so an elf following Rillifane could make sense as a spirit shaman worshipping the Great Spirits that joined their lord's court.
Thus, an elven druid ring also making spirit shamans stronger, using the above justification, could work.
Guildwise is up to the majority.

I just saw the PM to our guild and there shouldn't be a problem with adding spirit shaman to the item from the lore side and the guild. Yes, elves can have shamans and some wild elf tribes, which we also have in our village, rather have shamans or druids than real clerics.
So it's totally legit to have an item that's useful for shamans as well as wizards, sorcerers and druids.
It was requested to only include those classes, since those classes represented the guild during the events that led to the creation of the items ( Ancient Artifacts / knowledge that was recovered ). It was not meant for the items to cover all classes.
Okay, so we have bunch of people with different opinions. Classic BG experience, I know. The question is, who's going to make the call? Leader of EDE? Devs?
