Appearance
Tristan is a young looking man with darker skin and clear complexion, free of blemishes, wrinkles or even scars. He's of average height and seems quite well built, his shoulders broad enough to be a sign of plenty of manual labor. His hair is in dreadlocks, usually tied at the back of his head in a ponytail, though when letting his hair down it reaches his mid torso. He always seems to wear a silver circlet with intricate designs in spirals and circles, along with a moonstone inlay at the center. He walks with his chin up in an almost arrogant stride, his movements quite well-trained and graceful.
He is strikingly beautiful, and quite obviously seems to pay much attention to his appearance. He keeps his beard very well trimmed, though sometimes enough stubble comes through to reveal a ragged yet handsome look. His eyes catch much attention, as they are a bright blue that seems to glow in low light. One doesn't need to assume much to think he's more than a common human. His expression is always relaxed, and he often wears a soft smile on his face, he seems naturally approachable and has an inviting tone of voice.
He is always seen in high quality clothing, even when seen in more casual attire he wears the finest of textiles. His day-to-day outfits are functional, though there is a clear attention to detail to make it look good and well fitted. Usually in darker browns, light greens, oranges and yellows, his clothing gives contrast to a necklace he never seems to take out of his outfits. A shield-shaped platinum amulet, tinted green, with a pale pink lily flower made of metal. One could easily see it as a holy symbol, though quick research don't show it as a symbol for any particular Deity.
Personality
To describe Tristan in a few words, he's charismatic, proud and impulsive. He isn't afraid to speak up and seems quite extroverted, very much enjoying being the center of attention. At first he may seem shallow, worried about looks and the public perception of him, though deeper conversation reveals a more grounded individual with a tendency to be sometimes rash, a dichotomy that switches at will.
Extremely confident in himself and his abilities, some may very well see his pride as reckless, though he sees none of that, and most of the time has the ability to back up his claims of greatness. He doesn't speak much of his past, and is quite excellent at diverting questions regarding it. While not exactly secretive, those that get to know him better see him as a quite prolific "storyteller", as he puts it, as in many of his tales are nothing but white lies told to impress an audience.
In fact, when he speaks, especially when surrounded by many, it's as if he sees himself on a stage talking to an audience, and it is his duty to entertain. He seems to have a love for the beautiful and finer things in life, and it's not uncommon for one to imagine him a bard or some kind of artist.
