AMD Driver Versions

Has anyone zeroed in on good drivers vs. bad for NWN2? Driver developers have not cared for a long time if drivers for Nvidia or ATI (Sorry, AMD) work on this old game. It seems like 2019 was still a good year for Windows 10 AMD drivers. I have a Vega 56 video card, and it seems like when my computer updates automatically I get problems and have to revert back to older versions. I thought I has the auto update turned off.

The problem with AMD (GPU-wise) is that they basically use their customers as beta testers.
I purchased a 6900xt last year and the driver issues gave me a massive headache.

GPU installed with the following procedures:

Disabled Fast Boot
Ran sfc /scannow on command prompt to clear corrupt system files
Removed overclocks on PC
Ran AMD Cleanup Utility in safe mode
Ran DDU Uninstaller in safe mode to clear prior Intel, AMD, Nvidia Drivers
Installed AMD Adrenaline 21.6.1 - and configured it in standard mode
Monitor Drivers manually installed

I still had the same issues after this - but I know that it has worked for some people.

I eventually swapped over to a 3090 and never had a single problem since.

My secondary PC is all AMD and the current driver (for me) works perfectly with NWN2, along with any other game ive tried.
