Holy Sword Fizzling

Hiyas, just today casted Holy Sword on my LG Paladin and it informs me that the spell fizzles due to alignment, VFX's visage of the deity red orb and that's it. As I recall this should be working for LG only yes?

Edit: may have found the issue lol. I had casted it on the blade vs the character. It worked once it was on the character. Which also makes sense I just thought I could cast it on the blade!

From one side, it's an easy fix, i already tried and succeeded to fix it locally. On the other side, such a fix would allow to cast holy sword on a weapon directly, thus paladin will be able to transfer the buff to non Lawful-Good friend which is not nice since it's powerful. Everyone would like to deal extra 2d6 holy damage against 90% of server's PvE content.

I asked if i should apply it, but i doubt we actually will.
As far as i get it, its ability to target items only exists in order to allow to cast it on scroll/wand.

Oh no I am not asking for it to be applicable to the weapon, that should not go widespread IMO lmao. I at the time thought I could out of habit of other casts I do to weapons specific. Just a slip of the mind! But I appreciate your time Cheese, ty
