No Goad, no Mocking Challenge, no Guarding the Lord, no crowd control besides IKD... I'm not convinced. If you're up against KD-immune enemies, or (heavens forbid!) more than one enemy at a time, I don't expect you'll be able to prevent as much damage to your teammates as you'd like. Not alone, and not unless you manage to find and effectively occupy a choke point. You'll just be an absolute pain in the neck to kill yourself.

This... All that AC won't help your team mates if you can hold aggro.DaloLorn wrote: ↑Mon Oct 31, 2022 5:18 am No Goad, no Mocking Challenge, no Guarding the Lord, no crowd control besides IKD... My Tank walks around with a 58 AC, 15 DR, 7 Regen... and can hold aggro. Under duress, I can use either Dwarven Stance or AT for additional AC. So, my AC tops out at 65 with only three attacks or 62 with full BAB. 640 HP. 30+ Fort Save, 19 Reflex, and 42 Will Save.
Cheers!

I look forward to reading about the build-specifics. Cheers!Nathe wrote: ↑Mon Oct 31, 2022 10:14 pmAgreed on that, but it's unkillable itself to be honest. Not even CR 40 mobs have enough AB to land a hit on it without rolling a 20.
58 AC is not great but it's fine for common standards. 15 DR/- is pretty much a must in every Dwarven Defender tank but Fast Regen III is really much of a waste. You rather be impossible to be hit instead of being able to heal 7 of those blows you've taken.
I am building right now a fighting build that's able to reach 1d20 +70 AB all by itself and up to 1d20 +79 with external help. That build's also able to reach undispellable 66 AC and up to 84 through buffing and it's own debuffing capabilities with over 80 average damage per hit, but even with those impressive stats, that build would be almost useless against my tank since 1d20 + 70 vs 90 AC = 5% hit chance and 0.25% crit chance.
