Epic Gate (Warlock Epic Spell) Not Targetable

Not sure if this is a bug or not but I recently learned that some other non-warlock PCs are able to target Epic Gate similar to the Gate/Planar Binding Spells. For some reason, the warlock version of this epic spell doesn't let me target - it brings up a portal and options to summon things, usually right next to where I stand. I was hoping I would be able to use this epic spell to bind named summons when I took it, but without the ability to target, I can't use it on diamonds and such. Not sure if it's intended or not that the warlock version works this way. Any help is, as always, much appreciated!

couse some one have that summon only one can have it if is in use.
