Those who pay attention to mercantile goings of realms above or below could pick up on whispers of one they call Crossroad Merchant doing business once again. With no prevalent spot to speak of, the Merchant claims to deliver to a chosen crossroad at an agreed upon night. For he is adamant, it seems, to conduct his business only at a crossroad and only at the birth of a new day, at precisely midnight.

Those who dealt with him speak of deals made in the thick of the night with a well-dressed, horned man known during the daytime as Corneille de Locke. If one believes such rumours, they might be able to reach the wizard via Sending spell. Some claim that the man goes as far to provide trinkets capable of producing such magic as an extra to every transaction.

He offers a selection of enchanted magical items from his collection, wands, arcane scrolls, along with mystical advice, wards and whatever else a soul might require.
