Biography
Family Eamon is the eldest of four children born to Edna and Orrin Oakenfield, respected members of their farming collective.
History Eamon's life in the tranquil riverside collective changed irrevocably one spring when a delegation of clerics and druids arrived. They were journeying to the Temple of Chauntea in Greenest and decided to rest at Eamon's humble community. They brought tales of distant lands, of grand temples devoted to the Great Mother, and of the extensive knowledge and skills of the druids who served there. They spoke of the potential to learn advanced techniques in agriculture and natural healing, and of their mission to share Chauntea's wisdom with the world.
One of the clerics noticed Eamon's remarkable connection with nature and his devotion to Chauntea. She predicted a future for him that went beyond the boundaries of his home, involving service to the goddess in a broader capacity. Encouraged by this, Eamon was filled with a yearning to explore, to learn more, and to use his knowledge to serve his deity better.
Though reluctant to leave his family and the land he cherished, Eamon decided to join the clerics on their journey to the Temple of Chauntea in Greenest. His departure was bittersweet. The collective gathered to bid him farewell, and his parents, while sad to see him go, were proud of their son's calling.
Future Eamon's immediate future will be centered around the Temple of Chauntea in Greenest, where he intends to deepen his understanding of his deity's teachings and further his druidic skills. He hopes to one day return to his home with knowledge that will benefit his community. But for now, he is open to new experiences and possibilities.
He acknowledges that life is not a fixed path, and he is prepared to go wherever Chauntea guides him. He is open to joining groups of adventurers, seeing it as an opportunity to explore the world, learn from others, and spread the wisdom of Chauntea.
Heirloom item Eamon carries a wooden amulet given to him by his mentor, symbolizing nature and the druidic path.
The next character -Tarsakh 19, 1360 DR,
This last tenday marks a milestone in my journey as a druid. I find myself miles away from the familiar landscapes of my home, settled now in the bosom of Greenest. My journey from the Chionthar was filled with quiet contemplation, a time I used to reflect upon the teachings of Chauntea and the road that lies ahead.
Greenest is aptly named, its lush fields of crops and verdant meadows sprawl under the azure sky. Its lifeblood is a burbling creek that winds its way through the village, the water’s song a soothing refrain in the symphony of rural life. Dominating this idyllic scene is the grand Temple of Chauntea, a tribute to the Great Mother's bounty. It is here that I have come to serve.
The locals have welcomed me with open hearts, their faces etched with the honesty and resilience of those who work the land. Brother Elrich, the temple's senior priest, was the first to welcome me. His body bears the weight of many winters, but his spirit remains as vibrant as a spring bloom. His wisdom will be an invaluable guide during my time here.
The first week in my new home has been a mix of learning and sharing. I’ve lent my knowledge of herbs and plant lore to the village midwife, Mabel, whose robust laughter is as healing as any potion. To Toblen, the miller, I've offered counsel on crop rotation and soil health, teaching him the reciprocity of nature.
Each night, I retreat to my quiet loft within the temple. I find peace here among the fragrance of drying herbs and the gentle rustle of parchment. I sleep under the roof of Chauntea’s house, lulled by the nocturnal chorus of creatures that inhabit the surrounding woods.
Despite the comforting routine, I've observed an undercurrent of activity that piques my curiosity. I've heard mentions of a local merchant company, its name eluding my memory at this moment. Their operations seem closely tied to the village, and I'm keen to learn more. It is a story for another day, perhaps.
As I pen down these words, I am but a seed in the soil of Greenest. Yet, I am hopeful that with the nourishment of experience and the light of Chauntea’s wisdom, I will grow into a tree whose shade will provide comfort and whose fruits will serve the community.

Ancestor: Pim's father, Merriweather Trufflefinder, was a renowned gnome craftsman and a brave warrior.
Biography
Family Pim hails from a long line of gnome craftsmen. His mother, Bimbli, is a skilled weaver, and his father was a warrior and a blacksmith.
History Pim grew up in the gnome settlement of Sootville, nestled in the Forest of Mir. From a young age, he showed a knack for crafting, but it was fighting that truly sparked his interest. His father's tales of valor and bravery filled him with a longing for adventure. When his father passed away, leaving him his gnome-sized set of plate armor, Pim took it as a sign. Determined to become a warrior and forge his own destiny, he sought out opportunities to develop his skills. He found work as a guard for a passing merchant caravan, not associated with any particular company, traveling the trade routes of the Sword Coast. It was this job that brought him to Greenest. The journey was fraught with challenges, but Pim thrived, proving his mettle and his worth.
Future Pim seeks to continue his father's legacy and become a renowned fighter in his own right. He sees his time in Greenest as the perfect opportunity to prove himself and grow stronger. While the road ahead is uncertain, he's excited about the adventure that awaits. His ultimate goal is to earn enough recognition and respect to someday lead his own unit of guards, ensuring the safety of those he's sworn to protect.
Then I asked it to set up a few scenarios to have them interact slightlyThe Greenfields region of the Forgotten Realms, where our story is set, is a land of bountiful crops and honest folk. The village of Greenest stands as a beacon of prosperity, surrounded by golden wheat fields and sunflower-strewn meadows, crisscrossed by the winding channels of the Chionthar River.
Eamon, the young druid of Chauntea, had arrived in Greenest a couple of weeks before, having journeyed from his communal homestead along the Chionthar, called Crossroad’s Rest. His calling to teach and guide the village farmers was starting to bear fruit, and his name was beginning to be known among the locals.
Sorin, the ranger who carried Shaundakul’s windvane, had come to Greenest as a stopover during his extensive travels. He'd come down from the Fields of the Dead, carrying a message for a merchant in Greenest, someone at that Rocky Creek Trade Company he'd heard of. He'd yet to meet them, though he'd taken note of their central location in Hammer Hall.
Thaddeus, the wizard apprentice, had arrived in Greenest following the trail of an ancient text, rumored to be in the private collection of a wealthy local merchant. His research had led him to the Lucky Coin, the tavern inside Hammer Hall, a hub of activity where he was sure to find a lead or two.
Roscoe, the halfling bard, had been in Greenest for a couple of weeks. His charming tunes had become a regular delight in the Lucky Coin, and he was slowly building a reputation among the locals. The tales of his travels had intrigued many, including Eamon, who had a fondness for the lightheartedness of the halfling's songs, often bringing a pleasant end to a day of work.
Pim, the gnome fighter, had only arrived in Greenest the day before. He'd traveled far from his home in the gnome settlement of Sootville, looking to prove his worth and find his destiny. His arrival had been noted by Sorin, who had a keen eye for fellow adventurers.
At the same time, Thaddeus had observed Pim's arrival from the window of the Lucky Coin, intrigued by the novelty of a gnome fighter. As for Eamon, he had yet to cross paths with Pim, though the news of a gnome's arrival in town had reached him.
Thus, the seeds of their future camaraderie had been planted in the fertile ground of Greenest. Unbeknownst to them, destiny was about to draw these five disparate souls together into an alliance that would reshape their lives and create a bond stronger than any of them could have anticipated.
Scenario 1: Market Day
Greenest's market day is a vibrant event. The members of our party happen to be at the market at the same time. Eamon, the druid, is there to purchase seeds and herbal supplies. Thaddeus, the ranger, is looking for arrow shafts and fletching supplies. Sorin, the wizard, browses the stalls for arcane components and scrolls. Pim, the fighter, is in search of new equipment, while Roscoe, the bard, is intrigued by the prospect of new stories and music.
Eamon, seeing Thaddeus inspecting some shafts for his arrows, suggests a trader he knows who sells high-quality shafts at a reasonable price. Thaddeus thanks Eamon for the tip, and they spend a few moments discussing their respective experiences with archery. Nearby, Sorin, intrigued by Roscoe's lute playing at a local tavern the previous night, approaches him to discuss music and its magical properties. Meanwhile, Pim helps a merchant he knows unload a shipment, his strength and good nature drawing smiles and nods from passersby.
A journal entry by Sorin and a song by Roscoe about that scenarioScenario 2: Tavern Nights
The Lucky Coin, a tavern within Rocky Creek's compound, is a common spot for villagers and travelers alike to unwind. On this particular night, our group independently finds themselves there. Pim, after a day of hard work, is sharing a drink with some of the other laborers. Thaddeus, preferring the quieter corners, is observing the patrons with an observant eye. Sorin is engrossed in a spellbook, making notes and diagrams on a piece of parchment. Eamon, drawn to the lively atmosphere of human gatherings, is chatting with the locals about their farming practices. Roscoe, true to his bardic nature, is entertaining the crowd with a humorous tale from his travels.
A scuffle breaks out over a disputed game of darts. Pim and Thaddeus quickly step in, their natural authority and competence calming the situation before it gets out of hand. Eamon, witnessing the event, offers a round of drinks to the disputing parties to ease any lingering tension. Roscoe, seizing the opportunity, weaves the incident into his ongoing tale, drawing laughter from the crowd. Sorin looks up from his book just long enough to ensure that the situation is under control, then goes back to his studies, a small smile playing on his lips.
Sorin's Journal Entry:
Evening of the 12th Mirtul, 1360 DR
Tonight, the Lucky Coin buzzed with life. I spotted familiar faces, our interactions so far limited to polite nods at the town square. The industrious gnome, usually busy moving goods at the caravan, was relaxing with his co-workers. The quiet woodsman, known but never quite at the center of the crowd, was nestled in a corner, watching all with sharp eyes.
Unexpectedly, a ripple of unrest spread - a dispute over a game of darts. I braced myself for a brawl, but instead, the gnome and woodsman defused the situation with remarkable calmness. The man often seen at the Chauntean temple, took advantage of his status, offering a peace-making round of drinks. The halfling, a common entertainer in the market, masterfully turned the incident into a humorous anecdote, diffusing potential anger into laughter.
I watched from the sidelines, merely a student of the arcane and a passerby in this town. Yet, I found the dynamics of the place and its people intriguing. There’s an unexpected harmony among them that I find... fascinating.
One more scenario where they learned a bit of each otherRoscoe's Song: "The Dart and the Coin"
In the warmth of the Coin where the spirits were high,
A gnome and a woodsman under the same sky,
A servant of nature in tune with the land,
And a halfling jester, tale at hand.
Oh, in the heart of Greenest, under the moon's soft light,
When tempers ran high, ready for a fight,
An unexpected calm fell over the din,
In the Coin, where new tales spin.
In the heat of the moment, a laugh, a jest,
A woodsman and a gnome put to the test,
With ale to share and a tale in the kin,
In the Coin, where shared stories begin.
In the Coin, where we gather to unwind,
Where strangers meet and friendships find,
A night to remember, a jest, a grin,
In the Coin, where new tales spin.
Scenario 3: Festival in Greenest
Greenest is alive with a local festival celebrating the spring equinox. People from the surrounding area come to enjoy games, music, food, and dance. Eamon is particularly busy, as festivals are occasions when the villagers take the opportunity to seek advice about their crops and livestock. Thaddeus, meanwhile, is involved in a archery contest and wins second place, gaining some respect from the local populace.
Sorin, using minor illusions and prestidigitation, entertains a crowd of children with a spectacular magical show of lights and sounds. Pim is participating enthusiastically in a log-throwing contest, showing surprising strength for his small stature, while Roscoe, with his lute and captivating voice, is the star of the evening, entertaining the crowd with songs and tales, with a few songs specifically about the festival and Greenest.
Sorin's Journal Entry:
14th Mirtul, 1360 DR
Today, Greenest was a painting of vibrancy, celebrating the spring equinox. People from the surrounding areas descended upon our small village, eager to partake in the festivities—games, music, food, dance, it was all there.
Eamon, the steadfast man from the Chauntean temple, was in high demand. Many villagers sought his guidance about their crops and livestock—a veritable sage of agriculture. Thaddeus, the quiet woodsman, participated in an archery contest, earning second place. His skill with the bow impressed many, and I suspect his standing among the locals has improved considerably.
Even I couldn't resist the infectious joy. I summoned forth minor illusions and prestidigitation, transforming the air into a dazzling spectacle of lights and sounds for the children. Their squeals of delight were, in a word, gratifying.
Pim, the gnome, displayed surprising strength in a log-throwing contest, much to the awe and amusement of the spectators. But it was Roscoe who truly commanded the stage. His lute strumming was masterful, his voice captivating. He spun tales and sung songs that kept the crowd enthralled, even composing a few melodies dedicated to the festival and Greenest.
As the night drew to a close, I couldn't help but think of how this unique tapestry of individuals was becoming intertwined, how we all added color to the festivities in our own unique way. It was another fascinating day in Greenest.
And then I asked it to write each character's views of on another, as if by that character. I thought the difference "voices" were interestingRoscoe's Song:
(Verse 1)
In Greenest town, on equinox spring,
Where farmers sow and blackbirds sing,
The crowd gathers in joyful rings,
For laughter, dance, and many things.
(Chorus)
Oh, sing a song of Greenest fair,
Of merry hearts and jovial air,
Where gnome throws logs with strength to spare,
And arrows fly through the spring air.
(Verse 2)
The sage's advice, so wise and kind,
Magic delights, and captures the mind,
In the bard's melody, joy you'll find,
In Greenest town, all troubles behind.
(Chorus)
Oh, sing a song of Greenest night,
Where stars shine down with gentle light,
We’ll dance and sing till morning's light,
In Greenest town, oh what a sight!
Here are Roscoe's thoughts and feelings on his fellow adventurers, and Greenest:
Eamon: That Eamon's a good chap, no mistake. Not the type I'd usually associate with, being all serious and dedicated to his plants and all. But he's got a kindness about him. Never thought I'd enjoy chatting about crops and weather as much as I do. I think he genuinely cares about this village, and it shows. I respect that.
Sorin: Now, there's an interesting one, Sorin. Always buried in a book or making something glow. I've seen plenty of wizards in my time, but none quite like him. He doesn’t look like he’d enjoy my jests, but there’s a certain sparkle in his eye when he watches me perform. I think there's a shared love of the showmanship there, even if his show is a lot quieter than mine.
Thaddeus: The quiet one, Thaddeus. A bit of a mystery, that one. He's good with a bow, I'll give him that. And the way he's at ease with the wind and the trees, it's like he's part of them. Not much for conversation, but he listens well, and that's a quality not to be underestimated.
Pim: And then there's Pim, the gnome with a punch. I've seen him throw logs bigger than himself. He's all about strength and pride, but he's got a good heart. I reckon there’s a tale or two behind those bright eyes of his. Can't wait to hear them.
Greenest: The town of Greenest is a real gem. It's got its quirks and its share of troubles, but there's a vibrancy here that's hard to find elsewhere. People here know how to work hard and enjoy a good tale, and that’s my kind of place.
Here are Eamon's thoughts on his fellow adventurers and Greenest:
Sorin: Sorin is an intriguing individual, full of knowledge yet always thirsting for more. He buries himself in his books and arcane studies, seemingly distant, yet I can't help but see a certain childlike wonder in his illusions. He holds a reverence for his craft that mirrors my own for nature, which I can respect.
Thaddeus: Thaddeus is like the wind - quiet, but always present, often seeming distant yet keenly aware of his surroundings. His respect for the wild, the way he moves with the breeze, there's something sacred in it. I sense a kinship in our mutual respect for nature and its cycles.
Pim: Pim, that energetic gnome, is a force to be reckoned with. I often see him carrying crates around Rocky Creek that men twice his size would struggle with. Despite his physical strength, there's a softness in his demeanor, an inherent joy that brings life to those around him.
Roscoe: Roscoe's tunes often fill the air in the evenings, his stories captivating the village folk. He is as colorful as the many stories he spins, adding a melody to our everyday lives. His mirth brings much-needed levity to these times, and for that, I'm thankful.
Greenest: The land around Greenest is rich and fertile, and the community reflects this abundance. The people are hardworking, good-hearted, and deeply tied to the land. As a servant of Chauntea, I find solace and purpose here.
Ran out of queries for an hour or so at that point, but was also out of time. Overall I just thought it was pretty interesting what it could make up on the fly - it wasnt perfect, but it was pretty serviceable in my opinion, and most of it would only take minor tweaks to make better. I wouldnt even mind playing any one of those characters! Thought I'd share. Here are Sorin's musings on his companions and Greenest:
Eamon: A devout servant of the Earthmother, Chauntea, Eamon shows a reverence for nature that's quite enlightening. Despite our differing fields of study, there's a similarity in our dedication that I appreciate. I find his knowledge on the natural world impressive and often helpful in my magical studies.
Thaddeus: An enigmatic figure, Thaddeus keeps his distance but is undeniably observant. His abilities in tracking and survival are exceptional and speak volumes of his expertise as a woodsman. There's much I could learn from him about the natural world.
Pim: Pim possesses strength that belies his size and a joviality that's almost infectious. The gnome always seems to be where the action is, ready to lend a hand. His dedication to his work is commendable.
Roscoe: Roscoe has the ability to turn the most mundane of moments into tales of adventure and charm. His bardic skills add an element of vibrancy to Greenest. His mirth and stories bring a lighter side to life, providing much-needed distraction from my studies.
Greenest: Greenest is a charming settlement, a cradle of simplicity nestled in the lap of nature. It offers me a place to quietly pursue my studies while being close enough to a community for necessary interactions.
