Physical description
Thok, a normal first impression might be intimidation. upon further examination noticable features would be a wide, rough, masculine chin like chiseled from a block of granite covered in thick stubble, kind amber eyes, a vertical scar across his face, and a nose that has healed crooked.
Standing at an impressive height at close to 7 foot tall, its easy to feel intimidated before one gets to know him.
Physological description
Thok is usually calm and friendly, which quite frankly does not sit well with many of orcish blood, which has lead to Thok having made friends mostly with non orcs for the most part.
He's quite introverted, his view of himself is quite low, he thinks himself less worth in other peoples eyes, unworthy of attention, and he cannot see why he would be worthy a womans Love, incapable to see his own worth, (This is my take on his low charisma)
despite all that he's a loyal friend and a stalwart ally Thok is brave in battle, someone you can trust to have your back in a fight.
Religious veiws
Thok was never much for praying and keeping up with the gods, though he knows that the gods do their work and that each one fills an important position,
his father thought him a little about Uthgar, and thus keeps him in his thoughts out of respect for his father.
In the end, Thok knows that showing what he's about before the gods counts for more than mere words.
Biography
Thok was born to Wulfgar a half-orc, a champion from the Tree Ghost tribe and Maria a human bardess, altough their story is a separate one.
His youth was quite ordinary for the most part, he grew up alone due to most other children freezing him out, but he found solace in his own company and later on a love for taking care of birds.
When Thok entered his teens he was larger and stronger than most men in the village only second to his father
One night as fate would have it, an event that would change his life forever took place.
Out of what seems like nowhere appeared a band of black orcs together with a small group of hillgiants,
Torching the few building there was in the village, screams was heard as they were slaugthering the men and carrying away the women and children.
Thok's father Wulfgar had grabbed his Glaive and rushed out to fend off the invaders, but quickly got overwhelmed by the sheer amount of them, he got subdued when a big and burly hillgiant crushed the shaft of Wulfgars glaive with a heavy blow.
Thok in despair grabbed a burning piece of wood and ran with all his might towards his father
Thok threw himself towards the massed up enemies swinging his burning branch and promptly got hit right over the head with the swing of a tree trunk wielded by a giant fracturing his skull and orbital bone and that was it, lights out.
When Thok woke up bruised and wounded he was in the middle of a pile composed of corpses both village men and a few orcs, as he crawled out he noticed that except from the splitting headache he had lost sight on one of his eyes.
houses where looted and burnt to the ground and the body of his father mangled beyond recognition, while wiping away tears of grief he buried his father's remains by the village great oak.
Not long after he gathered the corpses of the remaining village men and made a pyre.
he picked up what was left of his fathers glaive and tied a rag around his head, he rifled through the remains of his family home and found his mothers amulet and before he left he turned back once to peer at what now used to be a warm beginning chapter of his life, now ripped apart like that of the crumbling buildings that was left, what remained was just a scattering of lost souls and burning embers.
He traveled around for Months after what had happened, Many hungry nights he had to endure, he had no luck getting help in villages and towns due to his orcish blood and was often chased out.
For about a few years he stayed away from civilised lands altogether surviving on animals and beasts he killed but it was meagre living on what he managed to hunt, He was not even close to the hunter that his father was,
but he had something else he came to realise, his strong and endurable body!
he glanced at the broken glaive that he had been carrying.
With some resolve he made up his mind to train and become someone who his parents could be proud of, he would not let the same thing happen to others if he can help it.
with his mind set on becoming stronger, he set out as an adventurer who helps those in need, to make a new life for himself that he himself can be proud of.
He set off south towards the Baldurian region of the swordcoast.
Many years later Thok have gained some fame on the coast, he both made and lost many friends, become a powerful warrior one that can be reckoned with.
