In late 1357, the svirfneblin settlement of Rockrun was found empty as all the gnomes had left after their city became too widely known. This started a fight between three groups that wished to make the abandoned settlement their new home. A Duergar Clan, a hivemind of Ilithids and the Company of the Blue Lantern battled in the War for Rockrun and, in early-to-mid 1358, The Company of the Blue Lantern had succeeded with the aid of Kraak Helzak and many courageous adventurers.
Renamed Blue Lantern Keep, this settlement is a bastion for the military company of the Blue Lantern, headed by the sapphire half-dragon known as General Morex. It is located in the Upperdark, in a place many could see as strategically advantageous. Being a military settlement, lawfulness rules, though most visitors are welcome as long as they do not cause trouble.
It is mostly populated by members and family of members of the Blue Lantern mercenary company and dwarves of Kraak Helzak that wished to settle there after the war. So far it has attracted some other settlers, but those are not the majority.
