Looking for help with a build

Unread post by JustAnotherGuy »

Hello, all!

I consider myself a pretty decent builder of toons, but I know there are many out there who are much better than I. Especially with NWN2db being down without a timeframe of its return, I figured I'd get some input from the community on a build idea. I am rebuilding Emmanuel to line up with some RP that has been ongoing for a long time. I was going to RCR him recently, but NWN2db went down just in time to stop that.

While I don't consider myself a powerbuilder, I do enjoy having lots of power in my builds. I outline my build within RP, and then within those constraints I place as much power as I can. I expect I'll lose some top-end power with this RCR, as I'm straying from 30 druid with dragon form. With that being said, here are my RP constraints:

Classes: Barbarian / Shaman / Druid (I'm looking at 3 Barb / 3 Shaman / 24 Druid)
Human (Reghedman)
Must have fey ancestry
Languages:
- Reghedjic and Illuskan (Should be automatic?)
- Elven
- Sylvan (druids don't get Sylvan automatically anymore)
- Draconic
- Bothii (if there is room, but can be dropped)

Spot must be maxed, but other skills are "setting appropriate", such as having 10 in proficiencies, like forestry and such.
Perform must be as maxed as possible, due to TKL.
Must have enough UMD to wear items.

Legendary Animal Feat
Magical Beast Wildshape Feat

His current ending stat line is (I needed two dump stats to get decent other stats, being human and not Aasimar):
STR: 16
DEX: 8
CON: 10
INT: 16
WIS: 25
CHA: 8

I would like both extend spell and practiced spellcaster.

I do think that's all the requirements! Thanks to anyone who takes the time to look into this! I can't promise I'll use any of the builds here, but I know that our community can help me get some ideas.

The Shaman there, obviously for some role-play you must have done, is utterly useless. I think that it doesn't hurt your BAB, but with 3 levels you really don't get anything mechanical for it.

Barbarian gives you some boosts to HP, BAB and useful feat in Uncanny Dodge.

Human saves you from XP penalty, not sure if it would matter, but it also lowers your WIS possibilities, hence delaying Magical Beast Wild Shape. Which is already delayed by any multiclassing you do, requiring whooping 21 levels of Druid.

And therein lies true issue with diluting the Druid as much as you did or even more so. Plenty of Druid power comes from those epics. Now, you already know that as you have mentioned some of it yourself.

You get 8 normal feats (1, 1, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18) and 5 epic feats (21, 23, 25, 27, 29). Those are the main things you want to plan out here. I'd consider Combat Expertise or Power Attack, Practiced Spellcaster (Druid), Northlander Hewing, Oaken Resilience, Natural Spell, Natural Bond, Epic Elemental Shape, Legendary Animal Shape and at least one Greater Wisdom. If you don't want these forms, because you already get the Magical Beast Wild Shape and are content with what it offers, just take bunch of Greater Wisdom. Can't go wrong with that.

With how high your STR can go in Wild Shape, I'd wonder if you can invest in any of the knockdown, disarm or grapple stuff, but I don't know how it works. Maybe someone else can consider this.
