The Three Old Keg's Inn

Discription:
The Three Old Kegs was a well-known inn found in the city of Baldur's Gate. It was widely regarded as one of the best inns in all of Faerûn, and was known for its comfortable furnishings and generally somnific atmosphere. It's location is found near the Wide.

Lore:
The Three Old Kegs was kept by Nantrin Bellowglyn, a retired nobleman's guard from Tethyr. The staff consists of Bellowglyn’s four daughters, a bag-boy, a hostler, and three serving wenches. The latter are former huntresses from Tethyr and one of them, Ithtyl Calantryn, is a sorceress adept in the fields of levitation and shielding spells. She has been known to singlehandedly defenestrate would-be thieves and unruly patrons.

Ithtyl worked as a serving wench at the Three Old Kegs inn in Baldur's Gate. She tutored her fellow servers, Katheera and Nathbaera, in magic. Ithtyl was always ready to defend herself and the inn. Ithtyl was devoted to her employer Nantrin Bellowglyn. Ithtyl was a skilled sorceress from Tethyr specialized in levitation spells.

Special Attraction:
As surprised as I was, when this map was being created based off lore and BG map layouts, there was a pair of pool tables. So why not?
The Three Old Kegs has two pool tables with instructions on how to play using the Dice system. Its fairly easy to follow instructs for a basic game. Players are free and make their own modified versions of the game using the die rolls.

Hopes:
To fix that walkmesh in the second floor. Yes I know. But also with its location and the pool games, players passing to and from the Wide might have a reason to enjoy some RP within the establishment.
Players and DM's please feel free to post any rumors or roleplay below that might take place or had taken place.

Snow and Ice

“Gods will not look you over for medals and degrees,
Instead they will look you over for your loyalty and scars.”

In the heart of cold and blizzards, even there one can find faith and devotions. I had ventured to the Cloud Peaks and came upon a familiar face, an Aurilite whom offered me twice to visit what they call the Icedawn's House. Out of curiosity I allowed myself to be led. Traveling through thick snow and biting winds, crossing tundras I considered very unwelcoming. But soon as I arrived to the front entrance, the golem s were first that took my attention. Perhaps they were guardians to defend against brave and vigilant Helmites or raiders from Amn.

I was shown the public areas, but notice the several locked doors. Fortified and rebuilt the temple surely had undergone, with lessons learned from their last war against a scale tipping odds. Yet once again ..here they continue..here they still strive, is it their resolve I had wondered, or was it ..out of their faith. The Frostmaiden, the Queen of Cold, the Ice Dawn. Names reflecting its owner, a god of cold and ice and winter storms. I hardly knew anything of their god, nor do i find its biting cold comforting. The priestess with things had wanted me to scope up handfuls of snow and ice and simply endure its effects until seeping water was all that remains. "You wouldn't be able to survive the winterlands" she had earlier stated. Quit true for an over baring amount of time, I rather bask in warmth, comfortable, or slight chilly winds to keep my temperature regulated , the cobbled ground beneath my boots. Out here, there is nothing for a man like me. Not I. While these frost-maiden's would make all those before them kneel and bow and hold them above all. I put more faith in myself, it's less disappointing from my experience." I believe the world belongs to the quick, the smooth-tongued, and the light-fingered. I even told her that I believed even wealth rightfully belongs to those who can acquire it." If a noble can acquire a great deal of wealth by taking if from the less fortunate or scammed from the uneducated, then just as much as they had felt entitled, so does the ones that rather have more fun in plundering or raid what they had thought belonged to them.

I endured the cold pain of ice and snow even if my hands were blistered and red. I showed the priestess, I was a knave with a bit more fortitude than what was suspected. Interesting enough I must say, how her god blessed her with wings. As nice as they appear, I surely have no use for such. Nor would I see them comfortable while sleeping. But to each their own. Views dont seem aligned for me here in the tundra. I'll continue increasing my knowledge of religion in my own way, perhaps..the knowledge may even improve me in some way. But for now, I'll enjoy my drink and the warm interior of the Three Kegs and the presence and conversations with one of the owners lovely daughters. If this way of life had a religion, I surely need to learn ol it.
