Blood Magus and Blood Magic

When I am using Blood Magic with Blood Magus I can see the sign that is activated. But I realized that actually everyone around me at that moment could see the same thing too. How is this working considering RP?

Blood Magic is forbiden in civilized environments, and can lead to serious penalties and consequences. I guess everyone will have to ignore in game this sign that appears when Blood Magic is activated?

Also my question is how and what are the ways for someone to notice that a Blood Magus is using Blood Magic (Blood Component and Bloodseeking spell) since it is described that Blood Magus can do that in a discreet way so noone can notice it. Is it possible that someone can notice Blood Component and Bloodseeking Spell?

I don't know about this sign of activating blood magic , I never used it , not yet at least , but I never noticed anything activated on other blood magi , and my characters run into a lot of them over the years .

What is noticeable is the damage taken when sacrificing your own blood to enhance your magic , but this is OOC , and if played discreetly most characters will ignore it as OOC .

Than again draining yourself of blood to power spells down to half health or less may start brining up questions from others , as paleness in the face and other symptoms of blood loss would be expected , be prepared to lie or risk exposure to unfriendly circumstances .

Some characters are neutral or even approving of blood magic , but most as with common civilized folks will not like it to say the least .

Bloodseeking Spell is visible to everyone around you, both mechanically and ICly. It involves more obvious bloodletting and has a visual vfx to indicate that.

Blood Component isn't visible ICly. It has no vfx either, but the 1 point of damage is something other people can see so they'd OOCly be aware of it. It is not visible IC though and people shouldn't react to it unless you intentionally RP it in a public way.

Just one more question if its not a problem. Can a Blood Magus recognize using of Blood Component of another Blood Magus? I am asking because of the context of the RP. Something like a unique element through which they would recognize each other?

Not unless you emote it to be obvious. Blood Component involves a tiny pin prick of your finger while casting a spell, it's unnoticeable unless you intentionally want it to be so.
