"Monroe, words are not enough to describe all that is relevant. There is too many names, phrases and the like."
"What do you suggest?"
"We have to visualise it and then try to describe it." Said the tiefling as she took the equipment and sat by the table.
"We ought to start with Oona. It is, after all, her headspace." Nafaris reached for the pink dye. "Remember, she has to look confused. Otherwise this whole thing doesn't make sense."
"What next? I think it all began with Valyxia, the letter and chocolates."
"Yes, it did. Draw the demon (germbag) right here." Monroe pointed the appropriate space. "Make sure that chocolates look tasty enough for the goat man to eat them. Parasites and strange liquid included."
"Then, we found the rodent's skull and took it to the masked scholar." She observed.
"I still don't trust him. I bet he has a cheeky grin under that mask."
"We can't forget about Jevan and the misleading scrolls." The quill was almost forced against the page when Nafaris realised she had never seen the man.
"Just draw a face with a question mark. That's how I see most of the people."
"I remember vividly the Quill Beast. It was huge! Kind of looked like a hedgehog. With very sharp spikes." Drawing it was easy.
"Don't omit the dreams Oona had, of the teeth and… just draw teeth. No, fangs!"
"Somehow, this all connected itself to Beastlord, Blood-moon and the Hunger Below." Nafaris looked up as she tried to recall the details.
"What's important is that we are all backing Oona up. You can impart it here." He pointed at the bottom of the page. "The Hunter Hound with his halberd at the ready, the Goat Man with his barely contained rage, you and I." Nafaris drew the figures as she saw them. "Not red nose, red eyes!"
"Drunk people have red noses and he is drunk with power. Besides, it's too late to change it."
"Very well. The important thing is that we are there with Oona, acknowledged thereby and partial to play our role in this grand scheme."
